Guest Col city fan Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Magic blog. I was at both Orient and Scunny with my lad and felt exactly as you described. Thank you
Corky Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Oh FFS, OG by LCFC in not going for OGS to replace SGE. By Ivarti/Thracian
Bayfox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 This guy hits the nail on the head, going down was a heartbreaker at the time, but L1 at Carlise and Leyton Orient made it fun to support Leicester and Cardiff made me proud despite the loss, if thats what Nigel brings back then so be it. Not what brings nigel back as some people seem to have read.

It's cash that's bringing NP back.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 It was nice being reminded of when I used to go to away games Very good article, and not just because it echoes my sentiments. At the risk of sounding like a patronising bastard and a massive arse-licker, Fez has always written from an informed standpoint, but his actual writing gets better and better
Mythyaar Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Great article, what about Huddersfield last minute slow motion looping winner having been pegged back from 2-0 up? Magical moment!
Thracian Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 If Pearson can mirror Fez's passion in his management he'll have no problems.
Bayfox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 It's cash that's bringing NP back. at what point did i say it wasn't?? my point is if nigel brings back a team sprit and makes people like the blogger and myself proud of our club, i'm happy with that, currently most Leicester fans have been living in a Thai Ladyboy dream world, we aren't barca, we can't play like them and we have a squad of 27 over paid individuals which hasn't worked.
mancunianfox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Great article, what about Huddersfield last minute slow motion looping winner having been pegged back from 2-0 up? Magical moment! I'd forgotten about that goal. That felt like it took an eternity to go in!!! Great stuff.
ajthefox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 great article says everything I'm feeling and thinking but much more eloquently.
MikeyT Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Brilliant article. Really well written and put together. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Simmo86 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Fantastic article A special mention to this bit 'Where’s Izzy Iriekpen now, eh?' . Summed up how I've been feeling over the past 2.5 years and now hopefully we can get back to someone like the TEAM we were under NP before.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Thanks all, means a lot to get nice messages from City fans about stuff I've written. Particular thanks to davieG for posting it on here, really appreciate it.
Jacnah Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 quality writing and excellent read for a LCFC fan. I think you've summed it up in the last paragraphs...beckford it will be
Salieri Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Cracking read, this part for me is a nailed on certainty : He will clash repeatedly with Jermaine Beckford, who will be sold or loaned in January to a rival club who will subsequently be fired to the promised land by Beckford’s goals at Leicester’s expense. It’s all so inevitable.
Raspeir Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I think that's some of the best sports writing I've come across in ages. Puts a lot of the tabloids to shame! Serious kudos to you..
ScouseFox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Actually made me want Pearson back. Brilliantly written.
foxyladysince63 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Have just read Fez's Blog.....How wonderful, how eloquent . By the time I finished reading it my eyes were smarting. I wasn't able to go to any of the matches we played in League 1 but followed the team avidly on Sky. As Fez says no matter which League you are in you want to win it. Only League ! people may say, but that doesn't matter....It's a trophy just like the two League Cups wins under MON. As you can see from my user name I have been a fan since 1963, more down's than ups and that what make the odd days of glory so much more enjoyable and precious. we can only hope for good times to return under NP. We all need to get behind him and the team and enjoy the ride.
