Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Now NP is back, I personally would like to see Moussa given some fair crack of the whip. Could he be a winger?? Maybe he could provide a spark - don't think he has let us down before.
jprs1976 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 good shout maybe get him training with the squad, if not already and whack him on for the last 30 mins if needed

Fox92 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 On what I have seen of him, I don't think he is good enough. We have far better quality in midfield, and Nigel will have the money to bring better quality in.
cc_star Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Did some good work on the right, a problem position as Danns has been far from great there, Moussa can dribble well like Vassell can up front, but Moussa ran towards the box rather than the corner flag hopefully everyone has a clean slate & everyone is given worthy consideration It all comes down to what formation NP can make out of all these central midfielders, but as it stands Moussa is a contender for the right side of whatever formation he plays (other than 4-3-3, which he won't anyway)
RowlattsFox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Someone I'd like to see more of but its difficult to see him getting a chance, could really do with the 7 subs, because we could put him on in circumstances and give him a go. 5 subs really restricts us.
dannythefox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Great player can remember him running the show away at Leeds last year surprised Donny dint try to sign him.
foxfanazer Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I really like him but I don't know if that's just because he's awesome for me on fm . He did have a good game against Cardiff in the cup, seems like a flair player

foxfanazer Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Too right - has to be a Plan B or C. Then again, is Johnson that player for us now though?? I may be wrong but from what I've seen of Johnson so far he seems like a sensible player that holds the ball up and picks out the intelligent balls (wouldn't say he had much flair) good player though

skippy85 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Well we all know that NP likes to play with width and therefore wingers and with the lack there of in the squad, i'd certainly expect to see Franck back in the mix very soon. Although we have a strong squad, you have to say that it's incredibly unbalanced, with 6 central midfielders and arguably one out and out winger in Lloyd Dyer. I think NP will certainly be dipping back into the transfer market in January, but the main priority right now is stability and consistency and i'm confident NP will help to bring that back. Bringing NP back is a massive "up yours" to Mandaric and Hoos too, which i'm pleased about seeing as they let him leave and replaced him with Sousa before they went!!
joelmurray Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I remember Moussa doing a decent job wide in some of the early Carling Cup rounds and he'd get a good few chances with 7 subs but as we only have 5, can't see much happening. He'll have to wait for an injury or two...
Langston Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I've got a couple of Southend supporting mates - they were actually fairly gutted when he left Roots Hall, they rated him as a really accomplished little player. I honestly don't think we've seen enough of him to decide whether 'he's not good enough at this level,' sporadic Carling Cup appearances and the odd league cameo isn't really a significant enough grounding on which to judge a player's abilities.
John Matrix Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 dunno why we didn't loan him back to donny. he seemed to do well there and they were short on players this season.
Ric Flair Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 He's nothing special in my eyes but if we can't get a right winger in asap and another left winger then perhaps he could offer us something short term. I'd like to think we have more ambitions than him and Lloyd Dyer though.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I think moussa could do a very good job behind the strikers but once january comes i would like to see pearson sign robert koren keeps the ball well not to slow and likes to have a shot at goal !!
samlcfc1 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I don't think moussa will have much of a role this season but will be interesting to see what happens with regard to moreno because didnt Pearson try and sign him for hull?
Tielemans63 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 From what I've seen of Franck he's decent but his final ball can be iffy. I agree with earlier coment that he's prob q good L1 player - not quite Champ level.
acooling08 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 The reason he is forgotten is because he isn't good enough for the squad!
Houdini Logic Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 All I know is that if he is good enough then he'll be there. No more worrying about players now we have NFP back at the helm...
Number 6 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 I think he's worthy of a shot. His spell with Donny in this division shows he could be useful.
mrmagoomc4 Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 we defo need width moussa should be given a go c'mon leicester i expect a rapid turn around under pearson ,,,players have something to prove now so get up off yer ass beckford and show some passion
