Happy Fox Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 I doubt we are going back to Dull in a hurry, as their will probably be a clause saying we cannot sign any of their players for a set period of time
Soar Fox Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 Ebanks Blake or Billy Sharp Jake Livermore Jimmy Kebe
bluearmyfox23 Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 I doubt we are going back to Dull in a hurry, as their will probably be a clause saying we cannot sign any of their players for a set period of time Can u have this ?
Ric Flair Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 DaMarcus Beasley, for name purposes mainly but the lad does have some talent.
Fox92 Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 Ebanks Blake or Billy Sharp Jake Livermore Jimmy Kebe Good shout. I know he comes off of the bench for Wolves sometimes, but that is all. He is still fairly young, 28 I think, and is a fantastic striker to have in this division - he scored a 15+ for Plymouth, and 20+ for Wolves when they won promotion to the Premier League the other year. Can u have this ? Yes. In fact, didn't Liverpool enforce a ban upon Benitez meaning he could not buy any Liverpool player for Inter Milan? I know he wanted Mascherano at the time as well.
Kitchandro Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 DaMarcus Beasley, for name purposes mainly but the lad does have some talent. Otherwise known as Marcus DaBeasley
Ric Flair Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 Otherwise known as Marcus DaBeasley Hahahahahahaaa i've had 6 tins of Tyskie, I blame that. He doesn't sound quite as good like that so I suggest we give him a miss.
Langston Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 Hahahahahahaaa i've had 6 tins of Tyskie, I blame that. He doesn't sound quite as good like that so I suggest we give him a miss. You were right, anyway. It's DaMarcus.....
Ric Flair Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 You were right, anyway. It's DaMarcus..... I blame the Tyskie then, it's not strong enough. I'm far too coherent.
Langston Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 I blame the Tyskie then, it's not strong enough. I'm far too coherent. Haha, it tends to have me on my arse whenever I have a night on it. Too many bad experiences on bowling greens.
Kitchandro Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 Hahahahahahaaa i've had 6 tins of Tyskie, I blame that. He doesn't sound quite as good like that so I suggest we give him a miss. I wasn't correcting you, that's just one of my favourite Pleatisms And now I'm wondering why you would have got what I was on about
Leicester_Loyal Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 If much rather we go for Zaha than Kebe. According to The Mirror, Stoke want him for £3 million. CLICK
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 According to The Mirror, Stoke want him for £3 million. CLICK Let them have him and we can go for Etherington from them. Quality player for this division.
MPH Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 I doubt we are going back to Dull in a hurry, as their will probably be a clause saying we cannot sign any of their players for a set period of time Pearson took Fryatt, Hobbs ... we didnt have a clause saying he could not take them... It would make no sense to allow them a clause....
Green-Fox Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 My top 3 signings would have to be; Jordan Rhodes-As stated earlier on he's a great player destroying league I think he's just the kind of striker we need. Robert Snodgrass-Yes I know highly unlikely bit great player just the type of winger we need does the he has to and scores the odd goal every now and then. Jason Puncheon-You may think why him just the fact he's a good winger played in premiership for burnley and think he's there now with QPR, southampton want rid and millwall interested really think he would be a decent signing for us.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 Snograss would surely be a dream, hes quality.
Gazza M Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 For me it is all about getting the balance of this squad right. We have some quality players for sure but the balance needs addressing. The squad was set up to play 4-3-3 or the diamond formation under Sven, so we are light in wide areas to play the flat 4-4-2 that Pearson likes to play. For example we have too many central midfield players and I think Shakey has already hinted that we will move a couple of them on. I think Michael Johnson's days are numbered here and I can see his loan being terminated in January and I see Moreno finally moving on to pastures new. I think Schlupp, Moussa, Weale, Ball and Tunchev will be loaned out too in January to get some game time with a view to them all moving on appart from Schlupp. I think it is obvious that Waghorn is back with intentions of him playing a part from January onwards. I would expext him to really feature and I expect him to be strong playing as a central striker with a partner along side him. Something we have never seen him do since his loan spell here in Nigel's first reign. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Nugent/Waghorn partnership early next year, especially if Mr Beckford continues to miss fire. With all of that straightened out, I would then expect a wide man in on loan, Townsend from Spurs being my choice and I can also see a new centre half coming in as I am not convinced that Pearson is 100% happy with Bamba/Mills/St Ledger. I can see Pearson testing Hull's resolve on James Chester and flexing the finacial muscle, with St Ledger possibly being the first high profile casualty under the Pearson 2nd reign.
fox_favourite Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 I think that this January transfer window will be a busy one but with Pearson being more balanced than Sven was. I can see Pearson favouring youth above experience with wingers being a priority. With Walsh's ability to find gems, and now he has money, I will be awaiting to see what is uncovered. Who will leave, well not sure. I would have thought that like previously stated he ship a few out. It's going to be an interesting on for us again. But I believe in Pearson and his team to get the signings right. I wouldn't be suprised if they have been busy scouting and coming up with a list already. Going to the game today. Here's hoping for a good win then with a good few wins, push for the playoffs. In Nigel I certainly trust
savagefox Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 how much money are we going to have to spend? I heard a rumour we have about 10 million to spend. Love to see Kenwyn Jones although dont think it would happen. Also George Boyd looks a good player and if we could get Snodgrass that would be amazing. Quite happy with the defence currently, even better is Tunch gets fit.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Jacob Butterfield for me, quality. Get the Barnsley Ipswich match on Adomah from Brizzle City would be a steady signing.
