John Matrix Posted 12 December 2011 Posted 12 December 2011 who give 2 sh1ts about who makes our kit? The team and promotion is all i care about the people who spend their hard earned money on them and would like something befitting the positive direction the club is trying to move in.
Topman Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 The Kappa Roma black and white shirt is nice, but they all tight fit, italians always looks good in them, wellans wouldn't pull it off and ball even
Finchy Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 They're all a bit boring IMO. No imagination. I think the word you're looking for is classic. They do it better than anyone. That Pompey shirt is like a city shirt from the 60s.
Green-Fox Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Umbro all the way for me, nice plain design just like englands!
Kitchandro Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 I think the word you're looking for is classic. They do it better than anyone. That Pompey shirt is like a city shirt from the 60s. Old kits were good but when you try and immitate them on a new kit it doesn't work IMO, it's the whole sponsor thing, the material being different too, the subtle differences. To me some of those above just give me the impression that the designers couldn't be bothered to put any real thought in it so they just did a very basic design and branded it 'classic'. That's how I feel about the last 2 England kits, I mean I could have bought a plain white T-Shirt, stitched the 3-lions on and hand drawn the numbers on in red/blue pen and it would look pretty much the same. I know the England kit isn't Kappa I'm just making a point about this 'classic' thing.
ozleicester Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Someone needs to email Burrda with this picture and tell them this is what decent quality should look like Terrible... its got writing all over it
goose2010 Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 puma? anyone seen the shirt cardiff are playing in away from home this season?? it is up there with the grey man utd shirt from back in the day! http://www.cardiffcityfcstore.com/store/media/gbu0/prodsm/3RD%20SHIRT%20FRONT.jpg
FrankieADZ Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 wouldnt mind Adidas as new supplier...as long as they do a kit kinda like Real Madrid's...but with our colours obviously
Fox 4 Life Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 wouldnt mind Adidas as new supplier...as long as they do a kit kinda like Real Madrid's...but with our colours obviously Chelsea then....
ChippingFox Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Why not look at Canterbury or Kukri? Do a good job with rugby shirts....
John Matrix Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Why not look at Canterbury or Kukri? Do a good job with rugby shirts.... because we're a football team
Christoph Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 I like Kappa shirts but I fear my beer belly wouldn't look right in one of them.
Simo86 Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Why not look at Canterbury or Kukri? Do a good job with rugby shirts.... because were a football team Canterbury used to make Deportivo's kit, the 2 shirts i've got are decent
C.J Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Are the Burrda ones abit shit then? I stuck with the Joma shirt with no sponsor. Still as good as the day I bought it, should of stuck with them. Milan seemed more concerned about finding a good kit supplier than matters on the pitch!
I am Rod Hull Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 I like Kappa shirts but I fear my beer belly wouldn't look right in one of them. Same here mate.. Loved the Fulham away shirt last season..
ramadaone Posted 13 December 2011 Author Posted 13 December 2011 Which bit of we will be playing in a Puma kit next season do some of you not understand
marko Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Which bit of we will be playing in a Puma kit next season do some of you not understand The 'Puma' bit!!!
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 As long as it's not Burrda I am not fussed, the shirts this season were awful! I took the home shirt back 4 times and the away shirt 3 times, got a refund though now
Mickey O'Neil Posted 13 December 2011 Posted 13 December 2011 Kappa You're obviously not a fat ba$tard like me then. Puma please.
Saxondale Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Does anybody actually know how these kit deals work? ie. what money changes and hands etc.
ajthefox Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Which bit of we will be playing in a Puma kit next season do some of you not understand The bit where you, a complete unknown, is claiming in December that he knows for sure that our kit for next year will be a new manufacturer despite us having a contract until the end of next season.
nuttytimmy Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Anything but an Adidas identikit. We are Leicester City. Not Macclesfield. Not Peterborough. Leicester.
