GLC Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 The Sun Fulham boss Martin Jol is chasing Leicester's 3 million rated defender Lee Peltier. Peltier 24 signed for 1m from Huddersfield in the summer. Probably a load of shit, but he's been playing well so you never know
Fox92 Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I wouldn't want Lee to leave. I think he is a good player and has been fairly consistant. I don't think Fulham is a step forward anyway.
marbelladave Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Ask them if they want Pantsil back.......
MikeyT Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Peltier is ours. Hands off you bugger! Least nowadays we aren't a club that has to sell anymore.
Happy Fox Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I reckon Lee would push for a move, any prem club comes calling he will be off
Fox92 Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I reckon Lee would push for a move, any prem club comes calling he will be off I don't think he'd fancy Fulham. I could understand if he wanted to leave because of interest from, a big club like Everton or Tottenham, but I personally don't think Fulham is much of a step forward.

Fulham are an established prem team playing in europe why wouldn't Lee want to go, if Fulham offered £3-5m I would bite their hands off don't get me wrong Pelts is a good right back, but we could pick up someone on the cheap again who could do the buisness like Lee has. This all hypothetical based on the reliability of the Sun but you never know.

Fulham finished 8th last year and have played in Europe the last two years?
Walkers Pallet Chauffeur Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 There is no loyalty in football anymore. He will do wot he thinks is best for his agents, sorry, I mean his career. How many of us wud relish a premiership move at 24?
marbelladave Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Peltier has stepped up very nicely but if he is sensible he will realise that a move to the EPL in january is a bit too soon. Depends how much he values his career developement or whether the money will be the deciding factor. Assuming it is true that is.......
ibbosuk Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I don't think there is a chance that any of our top players will be allowed to leave in Jan window. The Thais simply won't let it happen. I can't see why people are worried.

burni Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Cant blame him if it did happen. if if we got promoted it would be a few years before we could become established like them and even that it might no happend. Hope he stays hes good at this level and i think will continue to improve
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 It's the sun so take it all for the garbage it probably is. However, Peltier is good now and will get an awful lot better IMO Well done Sven for signing him If we are going to rebuild a squad capable of challenging for honours it's essential to keep players like this at the football club.
Fox92 Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Fulham finished 8th last year and have played in Europe the last two years? True of course, but generally speaking I still don't think it would be a good step forward. Fulham are not exactly a big club (I know they have done well for the last few years like) and I know they are currently in Europe but they are struggling in the Premier League once again. I can't see it happening. We are not in a position to need to sell players, although if £3million came in then it might be a different story, and Peltier has only just arrived (it doesn't really matter). I just think if I was him, I would probably stay at Leicester and see what develops. And from a Leicester point of view, I think it is important that we keep our "younger" players such as Lee Peltier.
Bayfox Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I think pelts has potential but 3 million, I know we aren't a selling club at the minute but you do have to ask if thats not a bad return on your money and did Kyle Naughton only go on loan to Norwich? I can't see him dislodging Kyle Walker at Spurs so maybe we could make a bid for him.
Bryn Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 I think you've got your head in the clouds Fox92. Not only are Fulham a Premier League club but they're a stable Premier League club, they've been there for years, they've finished consistently in midtable, they're well managed, as opposed to the Championship chaos that we are. And they're not too big for him, he could get into that team. I don't believe he'll go but if you think it's a bad move you're clueless.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Cant believe that. He has been good but hardly looking like Prem quality at the moment.
General Smuts Posted 14 December 2011 Posted 14 December 2011 Lee don't go, Lee don't go. We love you so. Your decision to pussy out of the rap battle was warranted.

I didn't say it was a bad move, I said that, in my own opinion, I don't think it is much of a step forward. I don't think I would move if I was in his shoes, and I also don't think he will leave. It's only rumour - I hope.
