Schlupp set to go out on loan?

For one month, theres no harm, it will keep him match fit, and will give NP something to look at when/if the other strikers start playing badly. Saying that, i'm not sure I'd want to see him go. Other than Nugent and Beckford, hes our next best striker, so unless we intend on using more of Howard (no thanks) or Waghorn (not promotion worthy) then I'd rather just keep him incase. One month isn't a big deal though I guess.

Wasn't this posted the other day? Anway, I'd prefer him to go out on loan than not to be making the first team/coming off of the bench. The first team experience will be good for him (if he gets it), especially at a club like Chartlon who at the top of the division.

Who's to say that if Schlupp were given the number of starts that Beckford's had, in his correct position, that he wouldn't have scored a few by now. I would like to see him given a few games, and sent out on loan if he was shown to be not ready. If he did go out on loan, Charlton would be an excellent choice - as long as he got game time; is that a certainty?

Heard Millwall were interested.

Interesting, would it be beneficial to play for a team in this division or high flying Charlton? anyway if he does go on loan I don't want Howard coming of the bench it would seem to suggest to me that we will get a striker in the January window.

All for it and helping out Chrissy P too !! But... if Chaventry asked for him, even though they're on their knees like they are now, I'd say (Harry Enfield style) "Oi Chaventry, NNNOOOOO !!"

To be fair Nathan I think Thracs right.

I know he bleats on and on about it but if the best young striker to come through in ages isn't given a chance he will be off somewhere.

It's been said he hasn't yet signed his new contract that's been put on the table which worry's me but if him going out on loan will help us keep him I'm all for it. Wouldn't blame him if he handed in a transfer request!

he wanted a longer contract then was offered, doesn't sound like someone that's about to hand in a transfer request, stop believing the Thracian scare mongering, Schlupp doesn't have the same fiery personality as Gradel

so we drop a striker and decide to start with STEVE ****ing HOWARD and Schlupp doesn't even make the bench, ffs play the lad on the wing if you won't give him a game up front
