Seriously, anyone else think Vassell offered a lot and we might be missing his graft and pace? Did we take for granted his lightening speed down the wing to releive pressure (even though he cut back and slowed it down in the end)

Think we are missing him, think when he was suspened at the start of the season for getting sent off at Coventry, I noticed we missed him then.

We miss a lot of people who don't play. All the players we have now in the starting squad are useless (bar a few).

When the players who don't play actually come in to the squad, we miss the players who they replace. The players who did come in then take the useless tag.

I've said before I think our fans do generally underate him. Good control, enough pace and bags of experience. Whether or not we'll ever see him in a Leicester shirt again I don't know.

Good playing as a striker, just about average at best when he plays a winger, he's out of contract in the summer, he's injured for the rest of the season, Sven probably gave him a huge wage, I'd like to see him off our books asap!

I said he is very underrated, he did offer alot. And for me, he was the most consistant player last season, and has been since signing. Now he is injured, I think people see we are missing him, especially with our joke wingers.

I like him and I rate him, but, he is injured for the rest of the season and he is out of contract in the summer so maybe we have seen the last of him.

He's not perfect by any means but I'd rather have him than Dyer.

It's not Dyer who struggles to play as a wide man, it's Gallagher. And it is Gallagher who struggles defensively when we set up our first line of resistance just behind the halfway line. Gallagher has certain skills including an excellent shot from distance - but he is the last player in the club I'd pick for defensive duties.

Ironically Vassell is one of the best we have for pressing early and that is an aspect we'd miss if we defend high instead of inviting the opposition onto us. .

Never liked him and don't think I ever will. Has his rare moments (like most of our player) but can do with someone younger and more consistent along with most of our players.

Vassell was never better than extremely average when played out wide, He looked better when playing as a central striker. Trouble is, for all his decent qualities, he rarely impacted the game in hurtful areas, which, as an attacking player, is not what's required.

Vassell is not an out and out striker but he was a very pacey and hard working attacking player who could score and set up other's, can't really see him playing for us again unfortunately.

Too average.

Whilst he's not a bad footballer (I've seen far worse), we can do far better, his contribution in terms of goals and assists was fvcking awful for the amount of time he got. I'm not saying it's all about scoring even up front, but when you're not assisting either....

Not a bad player but that's the limit, we need better than "not bad".
