Milton Keynes Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Okay guys, not a great result today playing a team that lost away to peterborough by 7; but i really think our next fixtures we can get something out of. I still think with a good january window we can achieve 6th place but with these next fixtures coming up what do you think? Portsmouth- Home- Win Palace- Away- Draw Barnsley- Home- Win Southampton-Away- Lose Middlesborough- Home- Win 10 out of 15 points good enough for a play off push you guys think?
ealingfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Without signings I can only see it going Draw-Lose-Draw-Lose-Lose
dave the caveman Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Play offs? We're abysmal. We should be more concerned about whether or not we are going to avoid relegation
jprs1976 Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 afraid we will get 1 point out of that and thats southampton and nothing from the others if nothing drastically happens in jan transfer we are going in to a relegation battle
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 afraid we will get 1 point out of that and thats southampton and nothing from the others if nothing drastically happens in jan transfer we are going in to a relegation battle we will lose every game apart from the one away at the league leaders?
cc_star Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Can't see where the wins are coming from We have a defence that is guaranteed to leave someone unmarked who scores every single game without fail And we have a strikeforce who can't keep a shot on target The midfield is also a joke The building work that was done in the summer is the biggest joke in football I've ever seen. we got 2 players who are good enough in Kasper & Peltier, we got 2 players who are just about there but are far from pulling up trees in the shape of Nuge & Konch and we got 8 pieces of shit... Add that to half the crap that was here before & what do you have? **** all
Corky Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 You can't say, with any real confidence, what the return will be from the next five games. The squad is bound to change, as will the opposition squads, so we could be playing sides who are a lot different to what they are today. Plus we're not looking like a side that believes it can win games. I, like many, thought we'd take plenty of points in December. And look how that's turned out.
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Drop Richie "four days a week" Wellens.
Kitchandro Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I keep seeing threads like this 'the next 5 are all winnable' etc, but then we're always disappointed. Give me a good reason to believe we will beat any of those teams?
acooling08 Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Considering we have came off the back of L D L D in 4 very winnable games, I'll say D L D L L
kingfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 The last four teams we have played were all winnable teams, and now three/four of the next five games are winnable, but we just have no cutting edge and the wingers are dreadful. New faces needed or we will end up mid table, and frantically we would be the laughing stock of this league, this season considering how much we have spent. The players need to take a good look at themselves and pull their weight and socks up, because only about 4-5 players this season have been consistently good, four of which are new signings.
Cropwellfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 D (if lucky). L, D or just possible sneak a win, L, L ****ing joke - if we're not able to manage a single win out of Dull, Peterborough, Donny and the crock of shite we saw today, Palace, Southampton and Middlesborough will be an absolute disaster.

maynefox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Pompey: win Palace: lose Barnsley: win Soton: lose Middlesbrough: win 9/15, but in consistent, which we all know WON'T get promotion.....but they are tough opposition to face.
Father Ted Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 These threads should be banned, they are just embarrassing.
Matt Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I reckon draw, draw, win, lose, draw. Only losing 1 of 5, sounds pretty good form. 6 points from 5 games, sounds like mid-table/relegation battle form. (That said I don't believe and hope no-one thinks i'm suggesting we will be involved in a relegation battle, but thats how I see the next 5 games). Sorry to be pessimistic like, just i'm seeing nothing that makes me positive about the team at the moment.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I would have assumed that the wild predictions that were made in the last 'Next 5 games thread' may have taught people to approach this with caution? It would appear not... I have absolutely no idea what the next five games will bring Probably more frustration is my only prediction at present
crisp packet Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Play offs? We're abysmal. We should be more concerned about whether or not we are going to avoid relegation This!!!!! Am worried....
Guest Bilo Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Portsmouth (H) 1-0 win. Crystal Palace (A) 1-1 draw. Barnsley (H) 2-1 win. Southampton (A) 2-0 defeat. Middlesbrough (H) 1-1 draw.
wellyfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 With this sqaud after the nxt 5 we will be closer to going down. And need fvcking snookers to get in the play off's And untill NP stops fvcking Wellens we stand no chance. Our midfield look shite whoever he plays but the one he won't drop is in every team. Work the FVCKER out PEARSON cos we can all see it. While your at it NP get fryatt back in jan to totally piss me off
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Author Posted 26 December 2011 I know we are bad but there are so many exaggerations on here
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Portsmouth- Home- Win Palace- Away- Draw Barnsley- Home- Win Southampton-Away- Lose Middlesborough- Home- Win Portsmouth - draw Palace - lose just Barnsley - win just Southampton - lose heavily Middlesborough - win just 7 points out of 15, still shite mid-table
wellyfox Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 I know we are bad but there are so many exaggerations on here Your so right the biggest exaggeration being we will still go up or make the play off's
