shen Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Just signed Kyle Walker, Kyle Naughton, and James Tomkins which always helps! Walker is class, and he'll do at top level certainly. Naughton is decent as back up or left-back, which I assume is the position you will play him in. He's a decent first team choice for lower-half/midtable teams. I hope you got Tomkins cheap and offered him a backup role, 'cause he's really not very good.

Brainy Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Went from losing in the BSN play off's for three seasons at Tonbridge Angels to League One Derby. Inherited an absolutely awful squad, but I had £3m to spend and quite alot of my wage budget remaining so I signed about half a dozen players. The first game with most of my new signings I beat Bradford 6-0 away. Quite a contrast to losing my very first game 6-0 at home to Bristol Rovers.

Spend 90% of my cash on Youngsters but have added a few quality additions for this second season. I'm just saying it's either a very easy game, you're some sort of wizard or there's something fishy going on. I don't want to accuse you of anything. When I first played Championship Manager, I used to cheat by quitting after a defeat and reloading the last save. I got a lot more out of the game when I learnt to play it properly. Where's the challenge if you can't lose?
