2nd season with Hinckley and i'm sitting 4th in the bsp with 7 odd games to go, did the standard fm season, started piss poor , won 15 on the bounce, went to shit half way through the season, picked up for the last third. i have 9 points to make up on luton who are top with 7 games to go on 91 points, im on 82, and i got a game in hand.

made some sublime signings, danns, dyer, schlupp on loan for 3 months from city, william gros from killie who city signed and loaned to me.

tryed to bring in some real quality for the last few games of the season/playoffs

just had moussa sign for 3 months but everyone else tell me to **** off.

Still smashing it as Stevenage. Redknapp-ing it up a storm in the tranny market as well.

Stoke are quality on this. First season I finished 5th, lost in the league cup final, got to the 2nd knockout round of the Europa league.

2nd season i finished 5th, got to the semis of the league cup, won the FA cup and lost in the Europa league final turning down jobs at villa, Newcastle and arsenal along the way.

3rd season I got offered and took the England job (currently 25th in the world) sitting 4th with stoke after 16 games, still in all 3 cups. I will get stoke into the champions league !

after the new update iv decided to start as city again

and with the crap budget given at the start i decided to buy a few lower league players

signed bostwick, laird and wilson from stevenage and they have bossed the mid/att midfield

laird AML inside forward and the same for wilson on the other side and bostwick just plain CM.

between them they scored 9 goals in the first 3 league games and wilson scored 4 in a 9 - 1 drubbing of sheff weds in the CCC first round

so any1 starting with city on the update sign these players, but they didnt come cheap, but so far well worth the money

Considering starting again with the update but don't know who to be, anybody got some suggestions? I did think about Stevenage but I don't want to show Smuts up.

So far I've done one with Leicester and one with Southend(ended up going to Tottenham having got Southend to PL mid-table) but bored of both really.

got Hinckley promoted into the football league as champions, left it to the last day of the season just to make myself a bit nervous.

got given the smallest wage budget in the league at something like 5k p/w, second lowest is double that, so i have a paper thin squad.

made a bright start to the first forray into the fl, 6 points from my first 3 games, then went on a 7 game loss run, was trying all kinds of tactics to try and sort out the slump, 451, 352, 532 361,541, then for an away day i gave the 424 that got me promoted from the bsn a go, beat high flying gillingham 5-0.

madness.

Stay strong, brother. I've been clean for a year now, but I still occasionally think about starting a new game. Then I think about all the days I've already wasted and think better of it. Maybe I'll have another go when I reach retirement age.

FM has got to be one of the most addictive things on the planet. I'm sure it's responsible for ending about as many relationships as drugs or drink, if not more.

In my 4th season i finally finished 4th and qualified for the champions league !

Capacity of the ground is now 57740.

Seydou Doumbia from CSKA has scored 81 goals in 124 games, he's an absolute beast on this, well worth 18 million pound.

I signed Antonio Valencia from Man Utd for 5.5 million, he's managed 89 assists and 36 goals in 3 and a bit seasons.

Anybody manage a country on football manager 2012?

Or do you lot stick with club teams?

Got offered the US job after a season with Leicester... took them to the WC after they had started with 3 defeats out of 3 (god knows how) in the qualis. Then Brazil offered me the job after I knocked them out in the group phase.

Did start a save with Scotland but they're not very good !

Sorry if this has been posted already but has anyone seen the Soccer AM team on this game?

I've seen them, Max Rushden is a striker.
