I dont usually start anyone who's less than 90% but at some point in the season everyones fitness seems to suffer. That's what I do, but I'm rarely in the position that any of my first team are under 90%

That'll get higher the higher up I get.

He went out of all the cups early on, whilst i made the Semis of League Cup, Quarters of Uefa (in it from SPL last season) and won the JPT. In total i played 81 matches in my league one season, he played about 60. He won the league by a mile, i came second, at most times of the season i had 7 games in hand on him, but couldnt really get near him due to the tiredness of my team, playing Sat, Tues, Thurs, Sat every week. When in the Championship we were going to be playing less games with no JPT or European football. I was in the top two all season the went on a run where i won 16 straight games and won the league easily. He for whatever reason decided that his 4-4-2 formation wasnt working after just ten games, and messed around with playing 4-4-1-1 to accomodate his new signing Taarabt, before choosing my formation of 4-1-2-2-1 . He ended up making the PO's, in 5th place after going on a right run at the end of the season. he played QPR in the final, who he ahd done the double over and one of the few teams who had beaten me. He went three one up, onyl for QPR to get a equaliser in 93 mins and then win 4-3 in ET. So despite being made favourites to win the league with me supposedly finishing second, he has failed and will play Championship football next season. What is enjoyable about playing as the Old Firm clubs in lower leagues is that you dont ge the revenue in after European football goes to afford wages thats why it was crucial we went up. He has had to get rid of his start players already, with me i started to build in League one, selling Steven Davis, Bedoya, McGregor et al and bringing in younger players. Looking forward to the next season now, i have been given 30m to spend in the Premier League! Think i can get Europa whilst for my mate, he ahs to win the league as he is under a bit of pressure from his board. Serves him right really, he bought a player in ;eague one for 8m and sold him the next window for 5m, stupidity really!

Darkon84 Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Finished my first season with Sampdoria last night, won the league at a canter. After being crowned champions with about 8 games left, and being unbeaten, I then lose the next game, then go unbeaten again. What a total pisstake and stain on an incredible season I kept an eye on Leicester too, who were in the bottom 4 or 5 for the majority of the season, with the top half looking tighter than I can ever remember. Same computer, he has been coming round mine on my days off from work, really has been good! That is ridiculous. Does he know what he's doing? Why would anyone spend that much on one player in League 1? Becasue he had so much money in league one due to European appearances and always selling out. He bought him because he is just a bit of a dick, i said ti wasnt a necessary signing when he was on 40k a week too. Thast why he only has been given a budget of 3m and mine is 34m. I bought players like Redmond from Brum, Branescu the keeper from Juve, PVA in my second season, Naughton in my second season, De Laet, and played youth like Wylde and Fleck with the intention of just holding on to Naismith as a key player already there. I decided to build for the PL, he obviously didnt! I'll post some shots of our transfers in both seasons in a bit. But seriously, Celtic and Rangers are so good to be, we had been them twice before and had good seasons in SPL but this has been so much more enjoyable and not as easy as you would think really.

Sounds like a great idea might try it as a network game with a couple of friends. Never done one before so I'd like to see what it is like.

Federici Steinsson - Gorkss - Pearce - Mills Kebe - Karacan - Bostwick - Gudmundsson Beciraj - Cox Need some more players lack depth, got the transfer budget but the wage budget is poor. Need one centre back, one central midfielder and one striker. Any cheap recommedations?
Fox_in_spain Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Into the final of the African Confederations Cup, with a 5-3 aggregate win over Police Union (Egypt) I've won the Super 8 once again, and I am in the semi-finals of the SA KO Cup. In the League, I am 5pts off Orlando Pirates, who are top, but I have played two games less than them due to the continental competition! Once again, it is looknig like a great season - only down side is the fact that my star goalkeeper, Daniel Agyei, got poached by APOEL. They met his release clause fee, and woe me, he left immediately - despite the fact that my transfer was closed! Having sold my other keeper, Sandilands, in the summer, I am stuck with Chad Harpur, a 36 year old who I signed from Huddersfield, until January, when I can bring in a new 'keeper. It is not an ideal situation.
