davieG Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 What were those "hints" again with regards to Alan Young? PM is appreciated. If anyone should fear litigation, then it is the individuals who were daring enough to come up with such claims. Unfortunately that isn't what happens websites/forums have been deemed culpable in the past, either way I think a cautionary approach is necessary.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 "his wifes a good shag" is hardly constructive yet stays... Perhaps help us out and click the report button then on posts you deem unacceptable or think we may have missed. Whilst people try we aren't going to see everything.

m00nie Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Perhaps help us out and click the report button then on posts you deem unacceptable or think we may have missed. Whilst people try we aren't going to see everything. Unfortunately we're only part timers so cannot realistically be sure of reading every post between us also we're all different and have varying views on what is unacceptable, it's not easy that's for sure and it's not foolproof but we try our best and try not to be personal or biased in our judgements. yea imagine your right.. ignore me, just a bit peed my post dissapeared for quoting someone else.. think its because i thought id made a valid/and constructive reply
davieG Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 yea imagine your right.. ignore me, just a bit peed my post dissapeared for quoting someone else.. think its because i made a valid reply This the problem we have when someone tries to dispute an unacceptable post and includes a quote they both have to go.
Babylon Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 10 pages... there was only 11 in the Palace post match thread.
crafty fox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 i had a go at what his perspective was at the palace game because he genuinely has an affect of what supporters think of certain players and the performance . due to work commitments this is mine and a'lot of others only way of keeping in touch with the game and i think that some of the negativity thats been around the club for so long is linked to this radio station. after the posh home game i drove home and listened to the phone in, 50%+ slagged beckford off yet what i saw at the game was a player who nearly the won the game for us and should and of definitely had a peno !and only been on the pitch for about 20 minutes, it echos the whole yakubu farce last season, because he has scored goals for fun in arguably one of the worst teams in the hardest league but the picture being painted was one of lazy yak which spread to the stands and caused question marks over his perhaps permanent signing from his own perspective of being wanted??. the whole phone in experience is cringe worthy hence it being renamed the moan-in . i imagine they are the same people who also have their poor views printed in the so-called leicester mercury. negativity is spread by these two medias and the fans take it so. and as for Alan young being upset about comments being made or fear of losing his job, perhaps he should consider that when he is giving his views which could lose city players/ managers their jobs. what gives him a divine right to do a job in which he criticises players/managers but when the supporters or players question his views he throws his toys out the pram! hopefully this is a change of thought by some of the fans and finally we can do what we should all be doing and get behind ALL the players and manager.

spionfox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 So on to Forest. Get a life some of you. Enjoy what you can while you can. Lighten up .Just live and let live and please, respect your fellow fans. Happy New Year. Stocky Nice one
spionfox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 The fact that Nigel hates Stringer makes me laugh, I don't think he even did interviews with towards the end of his previous tenure. they're both twats - get rid Pearson and Stringer?!
Webbo Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Nice one Do they know on TB that you're playing away from home?
spionfox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Do they know on TB that you're playing away from home? I am attempting to broaden my horizons and get a more balanced view on life
m00nie Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Do they know on TB that you're playing away from home? yea he told them, but he promised to clean himself after leaving.. anyone would thing tb is a different clubs forum the way this site gets slated there (unsure if people on here are just as guilty as never really seen much on TB before ) I'm going to have to look at another forum now but don't worry, I'll wash and shower before I come back here!
MikeyT Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 If Stringer or Youngy resign, Can someone PM me as to how i can apply to get the gig. It'll be a bitch of a commute for you every game!
m00nie Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Serves him right for reading that shite posted on FT, he might be the 1st person to ever take anything said on that site seriously, from another poster on there.. wtf.. we all support the same team whats happening there??
spionfox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 anyone would thing tb is a different clubs forum the way this site gets slated there To be fair, I suspect a lot of people (I include myself in with them) only use one forum and just get assimilated into the ways of that particular forum. It's like being in a comfort zone and anything else, being unfamiliar, just seems a bit, well, wrong Anyway, only came to see what all the fuss was about but it seems that (rightly) all of the contentious stuff has been removed. Move along now, nothing to see here.............
cc_star Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 It'll be a bitch of a commute for you every game! Wouldn't need to, could just sit back and refresh the FT matchday thread every 5mins in-between talking about the state of coffee & people's hats.

Charl91 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Bit harsh this thread. Read abit yesterday, messages of support being posted on youngy's facebook. He's more than aware of what's been said. Feel for the guy, he's passionate about his and OUR club. He's a supporter aswell as a commentator. You wouldn't be spiteful about another Leicester fan. Hope he stays on BBC Radio Leicester, I enjoy his views, does his job well I think. I mostly enjoy his views at the end of a home game, we get in the car, and we hear youngy debating various topics with callers in a decent manner. If you don't like him, don't listen, and certainly don't call for his head. I don't so much mind his views after the match, it's the actual match reporting which is the problem! Saying "if you don't like him, don't listen" isn't a particularly reasonable solution; lots of us struggle to get to games and pay for foxes player to listen to the match instead, so it would be nice to actually hear what is going on in the game! It's telling that most people said when listening to five live, they had a much clearer picture of what was going on. Most people aren't calling for his head, just offering constructive criticism. I don't think there are many that want him gone.

Guest Col city fan Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 It's fascinating how the general tone of this thread has altered, indeed become more pleasant, since people have discovered that it is being more 'widely read'..... As I said yesterday... Glass houses and stones springs to mind... Constructive criticism?.... Mmmmm lol

As I said yesterday... Glass houses and stones springs to mind... Constructive criticism?.... Mmmmm lol as time goes on most people calm down over things, nothing to do with glass houses, the guy was out of order for the palace game simple as.. post being deleted (due to other issues) also keep the tone down a bit..
