It is low budget as I said, so unfortunately they are never going to be able to get Alan Hanson doing Youngys job. Now you have a choice, you can either have an ex pro doing it, who wants to do it, who does have an affinity to the fans as he used to play for us. Or you could go back to the days of someone like Neville Foulger who clearly hadn't played the game and often didn't even see substitutions happening. Youngy is a pundit, he has a view, and I personally would prefer to listen to a view of someone who has played the game rather than someone who hasn't. Also very difficult for him when oiks ring up after the game who clearly do not have a clue about the game, never even attended it and he has to engage with them. Personally I would struggle to engage with most of the callers. I never listened to radio Leicester for years when they didn't have a footballer helping with the commentary, but now will as at least you will get an idea as to how the game is going. With regards to the after match phone in, I turn off as I cannot understand why anyone would think the public wants to hear an opinion of someone nobody knows, who has a random comment. It then becomes pointless car crash radio. Leave the chap alone, he did a good job for us in his day, trying to get back on his feet and is giving a footballers opinion. He is also quite critical, and says what he thinks, so you have to admire the fact he isn't playing the political card all the time. I used to love listening to Foulger as a kid. Brilliant commentator. I'd also be very happy to have Sinclair back. I don't really care whether they are ex-players, if they support Leicester and are competent at what they do that is enough. I don't require anything extraordinary when I'm listening on the radio, I just want accurate representation of the play and fair, unbiased opinions. And someone who is a bit entertaining, which Young isn't anymore, he's downbeat and dull.

Youngy gets to the game before most fans have arrived - partly because he's required on air early and partly because he's on crutches and it takes a long time for him to get into position - and stays in his seat until about 6pm when supporters have gone. It's my understanding that no complaint has been made and it sounds like a load of shite. This shite is something that Youngy - a decent, honourable bloke, regardless of what you think of him on air - is having to try and deal with. It's my understanding that Youngy is deeply upset by the allegations and I want to publicly send him a bit of support while this is hanging over him. PS I note that the original 'allegation' has been removed from that person's twitter feed.

Despite all her repetitive tweets about him and what he may or may not have done, it was getting incessantly boring. If he is faking it and making up false allegations about someone, then I hope she faces the consequences. I don't like Youngy's commentary that much, but no-one deserves to have such shit made up about them which causes them to come under scrutiny.

Sorry for the plug Mr Peters Not sure, I think in defence of Alan Young and his opinions and how he comes across on Radio I think he is just a fan, someone who cares but sometimes can be abrupt in his manner towards certain players. I get annoyed how hw and stringer blow smoke up Gallaghers arse and think Gallagher apart from scoring couple of good goals does very little in other games. I felt Young was unfair in his critisms of Yakubu and yes Yakubu was lazy too he had a few goals in him. I think Young to be fair has been best co commentator out of a bad bunch, I certainly wouldn't want Piper back! On foxes talk you have a choice hate young then listen to the other teams commentary. Though John Sinclair was good

There were accusations being thrown at Tanner, saying he was there and that he'd done nothing about it. Until he turned round and said he'd not even seen Young that day. Then she was asking people to get her followers because she needed friends after what happened?!?!? (Like twitter friends will help)....All a bit odd. Obviously nobody can say what happened for sure, be it him, a case of mistaken identity (she obviously didn't know Tanner), or an out right fabrication.
