Ford Super Sunday Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Decision will be made and announced tomorrow. Was 'announced' earlier that MK Dons were on the telly against QPR, but that was rebuffed by the Done. Wrexham's game against Brighton was also said to be on TV, but Wrexham have produced a statement saying the decision will be announced tomorrow.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Im a season ticket holder and i will not be attending weather its on tv or not. mainly because i can't be arsed anymore. after what i saw agianst portsmouth no chance im freezing in the cold and spending twelve quid. rather save up for an away game, maybe Brighton next week. Me too mate. TV or not, won't be at the replay, it's a nothing game - not like we give a flying wotsit about the cup this season - we've got far more important things to worry about. Been a P1 ST holder for God knows how many years, follow the team to as many away games as possible, but I really am losing interest with the whole thing to be honest. To the point that I'm in two minds about renewing my ST next season.
Head Honcho Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 In the 80`s it used to be about £3 to get in and I was taking home about £160-170 a week, now its £30 to get in but I dont earn £1,600-1,700 a week. Do the maths and see what value you`re getting for your money. I`d rather be plastic than stupid.... Yeh good point. As I said I wasn't judging I was just saying how it was years ago. You also have to remember that our away support for away cup games in those days although not poor it wasn't as good as it is these days.

smudger63 Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Well i for one, hope this game is not going to be televised. It`s already beginning to look like we will struggle to even match the Forest fans turnout, without the tv killing the attendance even more. After all the stick, some of our fans gave forest for there poor turn out, they will be quite justified to laugh their nuts off at our poor show!

Nahh, we can just use the "just goes to show how little we care about you" ploy that they spout out to us every time we play each other.

Ilkeston_Fox Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Yes to true, coz we all know the Coventry scum are our main rivals now!! You got it
Oh tommy wright Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Come on lads. It's the florists. I don't blame some of you for money reasons and I suppose the footy isn't great at the moment but come on let's get behind the boys. I can see light at the end of the tunnel. We've had so many years of crap but I know we are gonna turn the corner very soon (possibly next week) If 7000 of you can make it to Notts county in the ZDS cup in the worst weather ever in the open end all those years ago then surely you can make it next week. Or may be everyone is right when they say today's football fans are not what they used to be. REMEMBER THE WORD FAN IS SHORT FOR FANATIC. Are you a Leicester fan or Leicester supporter? There is a big difference. I love the FA cup and hate the florists so I've gotta go. BLUE ARMY! To all fellow ******

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 What price are the tickets? Does anybody know?
LCFC BEAST Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 To be honest it doesn't matter if we have 'plastic fans' or arm chair fans. All that malarky is nonsense. You support a football team and whether you choose to go is your choice or not. Everyone doesn't have the privileges to go either. The only way to get a big turn out is to play a big team (hardly ever happens for us) or lower the ticket prices. The latter is the only option to get high attendances in my opinion.

I think you will find that a supporter is a fan that when possible(cash) will go to as many games as possible, and never choose to watch or listen to a game at home. The difference is the 1 who stays at home wants LCFC to win, but does not care enough to support his team in person. No such thing as a armchair supporter. As the don't support, they just follow the results
Craig Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 What a ridiculous argument. Who actually cares? You go to games? Fantastic, enjoy them. What's the point in belittling other people just because they don't attend as much? Different people have different priorities at different points during their life. It happens, deal with it. We're all on the same ride, regardless.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 I'm still hoping they realise forest are only bringing around 1000 AND LET ME HAVE MY SEAT BACK!

To all fellow ****** I'll be going. as it's on ESPN instead of ITV on tuesday the attendance may be better. Remember the Zenith cup at county, raining so hard my coffee cup was filling up faster than i could drink it!! great night
RobHawk Posted 11 January 2012 Posted 11 January 2012 on ESPN Tuesday night http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/Fixtures The live TV ties are as follows:- Queens Park Rangers v Milton Keynes Dons 8pm, Tuesday 17 January 2012 Live on ITV4 Leicester City v Nottingham Forest 7.30pm, Tuesday 17 January 2012 Live on ESPN NB: This is a change of date from 18 January. Wolverhampton Wanderers v Birmingham City 8pm, Wednesday 18 January 2012 Live on ITV1 NB: This is a change of date from 17 January. Suprised Wrexham isn't on telly to be honest!! Fancied watching them! I think its a disgrace that ITV have picked wolves v brum again after the abysmul original tie being on telly as well!
