accessory Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 As I understand it, both ESPN and ITV will each have the right to show a replay live next week. Wrexham (the last non-league side left) vs Brighton stands out as an obvious choice, but which will be the other one? Look at the list below and say which one you'd go for. Bolton v Macclesfield Leicester v Forest Millwall v Dagenham & Redbridge QPR v Milton Keynes Wolves v Birmingham There is also the possibility of Leeds vs Arsenal, but I can't see Simon Grayson's side getting a draw at the Emirates this time around. Having cameras present wouldn't exactly boost the attendance (especially in the away end), but the TV money might help to ease our financial losses this season, even if only slightly.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 As it stands, we're the only game scheduled for the Wednesday: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/fixtures/default.stm

Bolton v Maccesfield aswell. Indeed - now included.
ScouseFox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Hope it's on tv. Be arsed going, but would quite like to see it.
chili_con_carne Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Prob be qpr game as it may well be there new managers first game in charge.
Kitchandro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I hope it's not on TV. We need to get more than 18K and a lot of people sound like they aren't too interested. Wolves v Birmingham seems like one they'd pick. Or Bolton v Macclesfield.

Wolves v Birmingham seems like one they'd pick. Or Bolton v Macclesfield. After the diabolical excuse of a game between brim and wolves yesterday, I'd hope not and that's just from watching most of the second half in the forest concourse. As for people who aren't interested, its understandable. I might go to the replay but I'm not sure whether to put the £20 + I might spend next week towards Brighton away
Corky Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Not sure if I can go to it. TV would be an alternative, and not too bad as it won't change the date.
volpeazzurro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 After the diabolical excuse of a game between brim and wolves yester I'd very much like to go to this but not at the usual prices. They have a choice of a very mediocre crowd or selling tickets at a reasonable price and getting a good turnout. It's just after Christmas and the club need to wake up to the fact that in the current climate the Leicester public are not on footballers wages.
accessory Posted 8 January 2012 Author Posted 8 January 2012 We should charge whatever Forest charged us (ie £15 for season-ticket holders, £20 for others).
volpeazzurro Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 We should charge whatever Forest charged us (ie £15 for season-ticket holders, £20 for others). I wonder what they were charging there own supporters because not many of them were keen to pay it even for a local derby. I know they're down in the doldrums a bit but it's not that many years ago that the match would have been a near sell out. For home supporters I would think that £10 for ST holders and £15 for others for this midweek game might be about right. Lets face it, you can buy a ticket for a Saturday League game for £20 as I have for Barnsley.
philce Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Charging exactly the same as yesterday, I'd assume that they will pay the same (we did yesterday). Why They have asked for their full allocation I dont know! Cant see them bringing 4500 on a Weds (remember they dont care!)
ithuriel Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 There support is not all that anymore, i'm guessing a 1,500 at best

Unlike in league games, both sides get an equal share of gate receipts.

Raj Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 As an ST holder i'd probably watch it on ITV if its live rather than watch a replay of the shit game i went to Sat!! I'm sure the players wont miss my support of the lads!
isaidno Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 If it is on ITV, I'd rather pay £15 and sit in -10 degrees temps than having to suffer Adrian Chiles and Andy Townsend
MrSpaM Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Thing is, if this is televised, i can see a lot of people just not going to the game, wouldnt surprise me if we did get less than 10,000 tbh
Larry_LCFC Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 If its on TV i cba to go. Its an unnessecary midweek game because we should have won the other day. There is only so much I can take of that red scum in a month!
Guest MattP Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Same here, definitely can't be arsed if it's onTv
