Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Very pointless to let him go while we haven't got a replacement in yet, lets hope we get someone in fairly quickly.
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I'm very surprised Pearson has let another defensive midfield player leave. I've never particularly rated Yuki, although he's been a useful player to have around... So yes, surprised at this news
Foxblogger Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Correlation does not imply causation. One of the first things you learn when doing any kind of course on statistics. I like Abe and don't want him to leave. What I don't like people using stats to try and prove things when they don't actually prove anything. That's all fine, but 'correlation does not imply causation' is not an argument in and of itself. If the statistic is misleading, it must be shown why. There have been some strong cases either way and I won't pretend that one statistic ends the argument. But it is a fact that Leicester did better with Abe in the team than they did with any other single midfielder in 2011 and that has to count for something. Leicester won 46% of their league matches when Abe started in 2011, it would be churlish to argue they were all flukes.
Kitchandro Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 That was a joke, a lack of smiley has made that more aggressive than it should have read. But glad to know Kitch who the one star man was/is. I don't mind a different opinion at all, but reading back some of your posts and calling me arrogant is as rich as packet of butter biscuits! I don't give 'one stars', it's pointless. Most of your posts seem to be a put down of people you disagree with so it's hard to determine which are 'jokes', if that's what you want to call them. Nobody
Karljohn Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Incredible. Small squad, so let a good utility player go. Agreed, its not a big squad at all, usually measured by the back of your matchday programme, most sides have more on their books that us, really sad to see Yuki go and wish him all the best.

You see what you want to see if it makes you happy. I bicker on the occasion with individuals on here, like anybody else does. But to generalise as though that's all I do or attempt to do is a falsity. But if it makes you happy. I'd rather not get into a bickering match with you, so I'll leave it there.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Id think Yuki asked to leave, can't understand why we let him go otherwise. Best of luck to him.
Vlad the Fox Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 The rebuild is on. Pearson has let him go, along with others who don't fit into his plans. Personally, though I liked him, I'm not sure he was quite consistent or good enough. Lets not panic or get angry, this team is going to see many more changes and it will be for the better.

HEGGSY Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 <p> This...... Seconded. Good Luck Yuki I'm sure NP knows what he's doing
Captain... Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Very pointless to let him go while we haven't got a replacement in yet, lets hope we get someone in fairly quickly. Isn't Drinkwater a replacement? Even though the squad isn't massive at the moment, we still have Danns, Wellens, King, Drinkwater, Johnson, Oakley and Moussa as Central Midfielders, excluding the unfit, Danns, Wellens and Drinkwater should be enough, with Bamba eventually getting moved to midfield when he is back, maybe. Also why was this moved from the main forum? Is it because it is not official? It seems pretty official.

Wellens wants to leave according to Bert, Oakley is never going to step foot in that team again, Moussa don't think he will get a chance, King is injured till the end of the season, so in all we only have 2 CM options.
robbieLOVESthealmightylcfc Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 am i the only one who believes this is just a rumour and he wont go???

I agree that it does imply things, and that it's certainly interesting ammo to bring to the table, but a just disagree with fleckneymike using it as definite proof that we're better with him. I'm not comfortable until we've it target and control groups
