lcfcadam Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He was no where near our worst player today though. I put out a missing persons report on Neil Danns, Andy King and Richie Wellens earlier. If anyone seen them after 3pm this afternoon please let me know. Only being noticeable through being absolutely terrible is little better than being completely anonymous.
Narborough_fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I've paid money, frozen my bollocks off today to watch a bunch of over-paid "footballers" play some of the worst football I've ever seen. If you don't agree with the booing fair enough but there's no need to come on here to tell people they aren't entitled to an opinion. You don't have to agree with it but there's something called the freedom of speech.
kingfox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Some fans have there likes and dislikes. I am a season ticket holder, I can't help myself disliking Matt Mills, but I wouldn't boo the team off and wouldn't boo players off. Fans go way over the top, but if they are frustrated they are frustrated, you get fans like that at every club. Fact is you can't please everyone, and most of the fans who boo are the idiotic chavs or people who don't have season tickets, who turn up see a bad peformance and think we are sunday league standard.
Kitchandro Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yeh our fans were an embarrassment today. I don't mind the booing at half time and full time but the booing every mistake thing was just stupid. Then you've got them chanting for Beckford as if he was some sort of footballing god who has been unjustly dropped. Guess what? He came on, he was shit, you started moaning! Bellends. I'm fed up of the people in K, bunch of little nobs who have more interest in their Premier League accumulators and trying to look hard and pissing about with their mates than what's going on in the game. Then there's just a general lack of enthusiasm from minute one. I mean I can understand it but for god's sake at least give it a go for a bit.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Iv spent a fortune coming over here for the season to watch this crap, these people are on absolute s*** loads of money, if they don't like being booed then they can f*** off, give fire fighters and nurses there wages... people who deserve recognition for there work, not footballers who are made out to be god's.
whitwickfox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Let's all feel sorry for the guys earning mega bucks.if the manager puts three useless midfielders in game after game, then who is to blame.most of the booing came at the end of each half and was totally justified. We supposedly had an abundance of central midfield players so where are they all now,and why is king still at this club
Mack Posted 14 January 2012 Author Posted 14 January 2012 OK I get it now, because people are jealous of what they earn it's fine to treat them like shit. Thanks for clearing that up. Now please jog along to the Ricoh.
Kitchandro Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 i honestly agree with you . but i think that if we got behind our team 100%. it wouldnt change much , we aren't very good are we ? No of course it wouldn't.
Finnegan Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 The Gallagher cheering when he went off was utterly disgraceful. I was ashamed to be in the same stand as those people. I think he heard too because he went off in a bit of a strop and didn't look best pleased on the bench. Oh **** off. I'm glad he had a strop. Maybe he'll go away and think about his ****ing career. I earn, compared to him, **** all and I have to spend half of my life listening to people bitch and berate the service that we offer and take pot shots at my company. That's life! I suck it up and get the hell on with my job! Gallagher is paid more than you'll EVER get near pocketing to be play a game you'd kill to make a living off and if he can't take some criticism when he's wasting all of our time, money and effort and abusing the love and passion we have for this club? Then he needs to be in another damn job. (If you haven't noticed, I'm quite angry today.)
Tom17LCFC Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I thought the chanting for Beckford was good, couldn't believe our fans were actually getting behind a player, shock fvcking horror.

I think he heard too because he went off in a bit of a strop and didn't look best pleased on the bench. He was amazingly poor. Most crosses and corners didn't get by the first defender, poor passing and as usual would not go within a metre of another player for fear of being tackled. Back to his smug trot around the pitch performances cause he knows Nigel thinks he's a good player.
Mack Posted 14 January 2012 Author Posted 14 January 2012 Oh **** off. I'm glad he had a strop. Maybe he'll go away and think about his ****ing career. So why or how is hammering the only 11 men that can make it successful productive in any way?
davieG Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 That's not the point, who could possibly perform to their best abilities in that oppressive atmosphere? I've never experienced anything like it, it is upsetting. The oppressive atmosphere was created by the oppressive performance on the pitch, no I didn't boo, never have done, neither have or would I cheer a player being subbed but I did groan and I did moan not because I like to but because of the totally inept performance by the players and the management. I make no apologies for that.
Kitchandro Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 BTW, I don't have any sympathy for the players at all. But some of our fans are just arseholes.

Ozwin Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I don't like the money argument but I do agree in a lot of ways. Half of that team today could walk out of the door and I wouldn't care. I just don't think boo'ing is all that productive.
Mr Weller Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 It was dreadful to hear Pearson describe fans as having delusions of grandeur and I think he is probably regretting it already. A club with rich owners, good crowds in a big city has a right to expect better than 15th in the Championship. He completely misread the mood. He came here for the money because Hull were doing well at the time and this itself was something of a disgraceful act on his part but having done that he has the hypocracy to insult the fans' ambitions. People are angry and upset because their team is playing so badly when so much was spent on it. They have cheered the players all season and got nothin in return so no wonder they have lost faith and started to boo. This is a time for leaders and today on and off the pitch the only person close to that Kasper Schmeichal
pen2 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Gally, Dyer, King, Wellens did not get us up 18 months ago so why does he think they are better now... ABE central midfield as holding player has done ok but then dropped and Gally (who i think is shite apart from 1 game in every 6) keeps his place and i went to Florist and saw how bad he was there. Pearson has really not stepped up and comes out with the same tired lines and we are a shambles of a side and some people on this forum blame the fans. GET REAL.
EnderbyFox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I boo'ed at full time, and rightfully so in my opinion, the players need to know that we aren't happy with the dreaful perfomance they have put in. If i was terrible at my job i would expect critisism, so why is it not right to critisize them?
davieG Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I didn't notice this much criticism of our fans when they were all calling for Weale over Ricardo

Now please jog along to the Ricoh. No, you dont get it, they get paid what they do... and part of their job is to accept criticism, thats why they get the big bucks, if they dont like it, no one is forcing them to play football..or even play high pressure football, fook off to a sunday pub team, people wont boo them there.
s3cTioN782 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 To be fair we all love Leicester City as a club and players and managers come and go. As has been said these players get paid obscene amounts of money to play football and along with the praise , adoration and perks they get for being exceptional at a sport they deserve to be criticised and told when they are utterly shite. It comes with the territory. I don't like booing a player but venting frustration is natural. In all honesty we want these players to do well for our club, but respect is earnt not a given.
wattolcfc Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 With the amount of money they are paid, to turn up and not put in a hard days work is a disgrace to every single fan that pays their hard earned money, that they earn from REAL grafting! If I continued to put in a poor showing at work, like they do, I'd be at the dole queue on Monday. Utter shambles and shameful. Has the club sold it's soul?
