Callabinho Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 If Real fail to win anything this season, should he be sacked, or step down? I think so! Last nights game was such a weird and negative way to approach Barca at home, to start altintop as RB when you have The better players fit alludes me, Pepe offers nothing other than stage play, ironically most of the time he was throwing his legs around like Mr. Tickle, Real squandered the ball. With the squad Real have they should be beating barca more regularly then they do! Last night simple things like overlapping consistantly would have given Real the advantage, A)because they can cross and potentially find a head, their not exactly a small side, B) dani alves's defending leaves much to be desired anyway, so he doesn't stand a chance with overlaps, Ronaldo's goal proved how exposed Barca can be. Thus if Real fail to win anything this year, I think Mourinho should either leave, or be booted! Thoughts?
Petchy Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I think he said he would like a return to England next year anyway, so I guess if he doesn't win anything this season he will most likely walk away.
Darkon84 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Have to say, I thought the decision to play Altintop at RB was strange, but I thought he had a decent game, definsively anyway. He didnt offer too much going forward apart from beating Iniesta right at the very end. I thought Ronaldo looked alot better in the first half, before being moved, and it effectively put him out of the game, very strange.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 He's smart and with Barcas dropped points it will be hard if Real keep winning. You don't have to beat barca to win the league they have to beat everyone else. Yesterdays game was odd from both parties Pep using a second choice keeper it seemed like he wanted to lose so they can concentrate on the league and i think Jose also wants this. He's stated numerous times how he wanted to win more leagues when he left England and look what he's done since. Copa del rey champions league Serie A twice Supercoppa Copa italia If he wins the liga he's done all of it maybe france? and then finally back to England where he says he'll stay till retirement
hbkkids Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Real Madrid r top of the league, he ain't gonna get sacked
StanSP Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Ironically, that was probably one of Real's better performances vs Barca in recent times. Ronaldo was probably their best player and didn't stay quiet for the majority of the game for once which was good to see. I think they'll win La Liga, but Mourinho will want to leave anyway. So either way, I reckon Real will have a new man in charge for next season.
purpleronnie Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 I think he said he would like a return to England next year anyway, so I guess if he doesn't win anything this season he will most likely walk away. Did he say that? I'd be amazed if he came back to england. Man utd would be the only job he would take and I cant see fergie going anywhere.
Callabinho Posted 19 January 2012 Author Posted 19 January 2012 Real Madrid r top of the league, he ain't gonna get sacked Good point, I just feel, real could do much better against Barca! You want to better you're rivals in every way!

FoxTrott Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Mourinho to Arsenal? Wenger to leave if they don't get top 4 this season?
Guest MattP Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Have you seen some of the English used on this forum before? I was going to say that Apologising for something a lot on here couldn't get near!
whoareyaaa Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Will be the next Man Utd manager when Fergies steps down. if not then back to Chelsea.
Guest MattP Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Will be the next Man Utd manager when Fergies steps down. if not then back to Chelsea. Man City would be my bet if he came back now.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Here, people thinks that Mou wants to be next ManU manager
whoareyaaa Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 Man City would be my bet if he came back now. Never
Rusko187 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Man City would be my bet if he came back now. I know he would love the Man U job but if Mancini doesn't win anything this season than I can seriously see him getting the boot and them bringing in the Special One.
21st Century Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 If he goes to City he's pretty much written off any hope of ever managing United, I guess it'll come down to money and whether he wants that or the acclaim of picking up Fergie's baton.
purpleronnie Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 He certainly doesn't seem to have it easy in spain and found life difficult in Italy so I guess england in many ways is the obvious choice, its a lot easier to be a manager in england you just have to read the press in italy and spain to see how much of a goldfish bowl it is. I suppose if fergie went he would perhaps be offered that role a return to chelsea seems a little bit of a stretch after his fallout with abramovich, I've read that maybe he would go to spurs but it seems a little small fry for him but I guess he's limited in the options he'll have, I thought maybe a national coach but maybe thats not for him.
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Has he fell out with certain players? I am sure that I read that Iker Casillas doesn't like him or something, etc. All rumour, I am sure, but all this doesn't help if true. I would think it would be hard for any manager to beat/get above Barcelona, in the league or any domestic cup, and even more so when the rivalry is big worldwide, not just throughout the country.

Ultra Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 With Real now seven points clear in La Liga, the title is an absolute must for Mourinho. The club wouldn't forgive him if he squandered a lead from here.
