Obvious someone will being looked at for there, question is will it be a 1st teamer or back-up to those already here We need a target man, that's what stands out for me. kingfox Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Honestly looking at the squad. We need another very good winger, Gallagher and Dyer aren't good enough tbh. King is injured, leaving us with Drinkwater, Wellens and Danns. One off form with fans on his back, Drinkwater and Danns looking pretty good, but four players in each position is a must, that's why I think we should sign another central midfielder. And with Schlupp and Vassell injured, that basically leaves us with Beckford and Nugent. Delfouneso is only here for a month, and Howard ain't a goalscorer. A winger, a central midfielder and a striker makes sense in my opinion.

I agree - our central midfield is thin on the ground at the mo. So strange to say this after having too many CMs at the start of the season. I'd be over the moon if we could get one more midfielder in, whether it's a defensive mid, a playmaker or a winger. However, I think just keeping our best players would be the main thing. The squad as it is should be able to make progress in the league. Playoffs should be a realistic target.
