Firstly, because the image of Gally sitting on your crossbar whilst you slog and sweat your way up north is an intriguing one .. what would he do ? Would he make eye contact ? Read a book ? Who knows ! And secondly because I haven't heard the word "croggy" for fully 40 years !!!! What other words need to be dusted down and given a new lease of life ????
