lcfcadam Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 One man stole the show. Without him, I think our half-decent performance may well have yielded 3 points.
Christoph Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I have learned not to make threads about any past friends who are now current referees.
MikeyT Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Great character shown by the lads. Beckford was brilliant and has now completed his first 90 minutes at last. The ref....No comment. Think everything has been said regarding him.
Fox1651 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Still cant win 2 league games in a row can we? Not a chance of getting in the play-offs at this rate, the performance was okay but results are needed
Cropwellfox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Such a shame we've not won in 5 at home now - with the group of players and spirit which seems to now be building we might go close, but probably a bit too much to do - keep the group together and next season is going to see us taking some stopping.
Corky Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 These are must win games though, through our own doing because we didn't win the matches that we really should've during December and also Barnsley. It's a point but it's not enough.

RowlattsFox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I thought we played well tonight, knew we would score a second but unfortunately the scored out of nothing. Drinkwater looked good although it was his mistake that led to the free kick. Best performance in a Leicester shirt from Beckford. Was actually a good game, even though the ref tried to ruin it. Think we needed to win tonight to keep playoffs alive, strong finish to the season playing like this will do me. Something to take into next season.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 sounds like the refs walked in and heard Pearson calling him a ****
PegguyArphexad Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Such a shame we've not won in 5 at home now - with the group of players and spirit which seems to now be building we might go close, but probably a bit too much to do - keep the group together and next season is going to see us taking some stopping. Fully agreed. This team is taking shape. With Pearson at the helm, next season could be a good one. But, there is still plenty of points up for grabs this season.... so who knows! This is finally a team with identity, passion and direction!
Captain... Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Is anyone listening to Pearson's interview, Sounds like the little ref went to the dressing room and interrupted NP, who told him to "**** off", he then got the fourth referee to send him to the stand. What the ****,
The Padster Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 He sounds very angry. Bet Stringer is cackin his pants.
Callabinho Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 we really woke up when danny and Fonze came on! On I brigher note, "he came into my dressing room, and spoke whilst I was mid sentance, so I told him where to go"
lcfcadam Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Ref walks into Pearson's dressing room and interrupts his half-time team talk. Pearson tells him to go away (probably in different words). So the ref sends him to the stands. Absolutely LOVING what Nigel is saying on the radio right now. He is so completely and utterly correct, and he words it all so well. Stringer: "Have you spoken to the referee after the game?" Nigel: "I wouldn't lower myself to that, Ian"
Simmo86 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Pearson Not to down after that, need 6 points against Brighton & Cardiff now though. Tough ask! More signs of us becoming more of a team though.
Finnegan Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Take a bow Jermaine Beckford. Ran his socks off, could have had a hattrick, finally scored by pure bloody determination and graft and rescued us a point. Cruelly unlucky not to win it. What a player when he wants to be. PS: I said years ago the Fosse Boys should start that ****ing chant! Oh no, no, we can't copy Palace!! Well hows about that for some actual atmosphere!?
GUJJIFOX Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 the interview ...must listen to anyone who hasn't! Pearson is peeved off big time!
HoustonFox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I'm very surprised he didn't even say good finish about Becks... Does he like him?
Leicfox Posted 1 February 2012 Author Posted 1 February 2012 Played well 2nd half. Drinkwater made a mistake which led to their freekick, a very sloppy pass back and St Ledger was lucky to stay on but the freekick was a great strike, so you can't really blame him. Beckford was immense. Still no back to back wins in the league.
