lcfcadam Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 What was that song singing in L K un j for the last 20 min sounded brillov????????? It was the "We love you" one that apparently Palace are famed for always singing (taken from St Pauli I believe). Kinda annoys me as a song, but did make for an impressive atmosphere.

iancognito Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 What was that song singing in L K un j for the last 20 min sounded brillov????????? We Love You (might not be quite right on the words) We love you, we love you, we love you and that is why we follow, follow, follow We follow Leicester, Leicester, Leicester and that's the way we like it, like it like it Ooooo woooahhh woahhhhhhh (jumpy twirly scarf thingy) It's been pinched from Palalce but check out the new chants the youtube link to their version is in there too.
Libertine Dream Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Not the greatest performance especially first half but we deserved the win in the end. Drinkwater and The Fonz should keep their places, definitely improved us. Boro not great after first 20 mins but they realised what they could get out of that referee if they brown-nosed him enough. Didn't want to evaluate the ref because to be honest he doesn't deserve, but I have to say his nit-picking and total lack of consistency ruined what could have been a decent game. Needs to be reprocussions for him. Paulo sort him out.
MikeyT Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 TheNewStatsman Mark Charlton It might please #lcfc fans to know that NP has 'just had a right go at the referee'...
Weller in Tights Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Midfield looked much better once Drinkwater was on. Yes I know he made a mistake that led to St ledger making the foul but Drinkwater must start. He is busy imaginative looks to get the game moving at pace. If Marshall is alsolike this then those two to start on Saturday. Personally I would then have Danns as a spoiler in Midfiled. 4th Midfield place??? That is the question. Becford and Nugent will score if they get service. Oh yeah, Ohh Tommy Wright said he couldnt be arsed to go on here tonight but he said to say get rid of the drummer!!! he was so knackered he couldnt keep up with the chanting, come on city fans do it without the fat drummer.

Weller in Tights Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 sorry for crap spelling before the grammar/spelling police get hold of this
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Sounds promising for a late push for the play-offs? Although we havent won at home in the league since November and cant string 2 wins together but hey ho
Poakey Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Many positives after tonight, Beckford being the biggest. Great performance, good to see him respond to the fans midway through the 2nd half. Drinkwater and the Fonz were quality also.
Happy Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Gally and Wellens for me were the weak links imo, and when the Fonz and Drinkwater came on we were far better.
crisp packet Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Front two looking hot ! We didn't play well , our passing was poor losing 1st and second balls but again thought team worked hard .... It's deffo the way forward!! Midfield changes will be made just look at the players removed ?!?! Ref .enough said! Atmosphere , best this season so far second half! Seen scarves waving all round ground looked good....
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Gally and Wellens for me were the weak links imo, and when the Fonz and Drinkwater came on we were far better. I have to be honest... Tonite I thought Dyer and Gally were very poor Wellens wasn't much better and Mills was like a scared wickle wabbit! His passing must be the worst I've seen from a City Centre back in a long time. I think it's time for Drinky to replace Richie and for Gally to wander into the wilderness. The Fonz looked far more dangerous than Lloyd too... Basically, it's looking like its time for Nige's old guard to step down and for his new boys to step up. At least to try it and see. Id replace Mills too, and give Morgan a go..
FoxTrott Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Anyone notice Danns' little chip balls, 3 or so times over their defence? Beckford almost scored for them twice. Really cheeky and effective.
Saxondale Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=makLoWvLtMQ We love ya, we love ya, we love ya, And when you play we follow, we follow, we follow, Cos we support <whoever>, <whoever>, <whoever> And that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it. Our version sounded bloody fantastic with Jobber's percussion!
Babylon Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Someone seems to have replaced Beckford with a cyborg who seems bang up for it and hungry. Brilliant display. Where was this the first 20 games? lemtom Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Once Drinkwater and Delfouneso came on their was a lot more energy about the midfield.. from about 65 minutes onwards there looked like there was only going to be 1 winner, there goal came out of the blue and against the run of play. With Marshall now available the midfield will look a hell of a lot better (if he's as good as sheffield wednesday fans say he is). Whilst Mills distribution is sometimes questionable if he hasnt got any pass on short theres only two ways he can go thats back or long and tonight at times especially before drinkwater came on there was literally nothing on but the long ball.
Libertine Dream Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Wellens and Gallagher have to be dropped for some time now. Beckford will look even better without them.
EnderbyFox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Think the referee's performance only just shaded that of Gallaghers, how he starts every week is beyond me. What does he actually offer? weak in tackles, can't head, can't run. The only things he is "good" at are set peices, and they were dreadful tonight. Definitely should be dropped next game.
ScouseFox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Didn't watch or listen. Ref seems to have been in the wrong and properly angered some of our players and staff (mainly Nige). Seems to have been a pretty open, even game, could have won, could have lost. Hence a draw, I guess. Very, very pleased Becks got a goal and seemingly a man of the match performance. Knew he'd come good. Onto Brighton...

Happy Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 If we win at Brighton then this point we gained won't be in vain, If we reach the playoffs great if not, then this squad has the nucleus of a promotion winning team next season.
lemtom Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 id be really surprised if gallagher, wellens and dyer are all in the starting line up on saturday think Gally needs a rest really doesnt look fit.
steveherbe Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Having had time to reflect, as someone else has said the old guard HAVE to go. Wellens, Gally, Dyer and Howard, all useless to varying degrees. Replace Wellens with Drinkwater, Dyer with Marshall, Gallagher with the laundry lady - or Jobber - and Howard with Delf/Waggy when fit. As the Thai TV link was crap tonight, it was hard to see if all the ground joined in the scarf waving, but it sounded fantastic. We should definitely keep that, and Lees drum really helped. Just watched Pantsil at the ACN, he aint good! Who can we realistically replace Gally with? I can;t think of anyone, unless we play Marshall wide right. But that means retaining Dyer, and with the best will in the world, he's gash most of the time. Unless, we can persuade Bamba to play alongside Dannzy in the middle, then have Drinkwater and Marshall playing wider? Works for me.
