Stabbing at todays game? RUMOUR

Recommended Posts

I'm more interested in why the Old Bill and some Pothole Caving enthusiasts were going down a hole near the underpass on the way home from the game.

The lad who was coming down the seats as people are saying tried to break a seat near N Block, failed so started throwing coins into N Block at kids.. Yes kids.. Stewards got on the radio straight away pointed him out was running around the away end then finally got caught. When he got caught he decided to throw about 6 punches at the steward who caught him.

I've tweeted StringerSport to see if he had heard anything of a Stabbing and I really hope it is just a rumour we don't need this in football.

A friend of mine who is a Cov fan told me that there was a Cov fan refused entry at the away turnstile, he then somehow managed to get into L1, he was removed but then Cov fans started on him so that may explain the fighting amongst themselves. Passed by the away end after the game and they had about 80-100 surrounded by old bill, mixture of middle aged stone island wearing ****** and kids, by the look of them, the last time they had a wash was the last time they won away, menacing? ive shit harder.

I've never seen him in L1 before, he started singing 'we are premier league' and everyone just turned around and looked at him.

Can anyone at the back of L1 tell us if he celebrated when we scored?

Think that was the bomb squad checking all the drains for the queens visit. Looked like ghostbusters lol

I was a very weird sight at an even weirder time of day!

I was sort of hoping the old bill had lost the keys to the riot van down a drain.

It's not just football - this whole country is full of shit right now. I've never known so much crime - and much of it so blatant it's as if those responsible are as happy to be caught and put away as to queue at the post office and find that the computers are down so they can't collect their benefits - yet again.

It will only get worse if they cut back on policing or privatise parts of it. People have a lack of respect and discipline nowadays (not that I'm very old myself), something like National Service would do the trick.

I'm not sure I like the idea of giving some of the Coventry fans a gun based on what I've heard about them today.

A Southampton fan that got kicked was getting into that. Seen him and 2 coppers get in on my way out.

Do you mean a Cov fan or did you actually mean a Southampton fan?

Wouldn't bother me, half of them are too thick to know where the trigger is and the other half are even thicker so would shoot themselves. Win Win.

A car passed me on the way home today, and a kid (about 10 or so)was singing the interbred song.

Its the parents fault. If my son was doing that i'd box his bloody ears.

Whilst I'm not against National Service what a lot of these kids needed was learning a basic set of values from their parents.

Having kids is a huge challenge and a responsibility.

A lot of parents these days seem to be kids themselves and they are too busy living their own tangled up lives to care for their offspring. It's frightening.

Ha classic what do you expect from them? There a disgrace to the midlands and their team is Sunday league at best. It won't be long until Coventry becomes a foo it without a team... We can all hope anyway

Hope that isn't true, but it is Cov scum so....

Very unfortunate and tragic if so.

It's a sad time when people are getting deliberately and violently hurt as a result of a football match. More unfortunately, it happens too often these days.

He got held over the barrier right next to me, got a cold though so thankfully I couldn't smell him!

Think this is thankfully just a rumour. From the Covs forum thread:

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/15269-Match-thread-Coventry-v-Leicester/page21

For some reason a Cov fan was sat in with the Leicester fans. Someone in the Cov end reconised him and then started the Judas chants. Poilce then removed him from the Leicester end and he came and sat up in the Cov end. Basically aload of 16-17 started pushing and trying to punch him. Then fists started being thrown from all angles. Some poor lad that was not involved got knocked out cold

Hence the ambulance

Is this where the cov fans were figjting beteeen themselves dfluring the game?fkin hell I hope its not true

They were fighting because the lad who got chucked out of L1 got put into their end and then got started on.

Seems like the ginger, gobby, elephant man look-a-like came off worse by the looks of him when he got dragged out by the OB!

True mate.

You're not even safe in your own home these days.

crime rates overall have been reduced quite dramatically over the past 10 years, many crimes are at very similiar levels for the past 30 years.

I think every generation believes that things used to be better, its not always the case.

Thats not to diminish the level of crime though.

Back it the 80's when i first went to games there was much much more violence but that cant be held as a barometer of how bad things are just like some idiots causing trouble today has no real relevance.
