Bert Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 A friend of mine who is a Cov fan told me that there was a Cov fan refused entry at the away turnstile, he then somehow managed to get into L1, he was removed but then Cov fans started on him so that may explain the fighting amongst themselves. Passed by the away end after the game and they had about 80-100 surrounded by old bill, mixture of middle aged stone island wearing ****** and kids, by the look of them, the last time they had a wash was the last time they won away, menacing? ive shit harder. I can shed some light on this. At the start of the second half someone we've never seen before came up to L1 and stood next to the barrier in L1 as close to the cov fans as he could. At the time the people who occupy the seats hadn't returned yet. When they did come up they just took him as another Leicester fan. Halfway through the second half the cov fans were singing "judas judas judas" at him. The lads who occupy the seats he was in asked him to move because they basically said "we've paid for these sears so come on". He refused, things got a bit heated and the lads helped the coppers take him over the barriers! Wilkesy said "he smelt a bit so he was defo a cov fan"

It really is pathetic that some people from Cov have probably seen Green Street and feel the need to start acting like that. Throwing missiles into the family stand. Really? I think it's worth saying that this is probably a small percentage which you get with all clubs (though seemingly a larger percentage for Coventry than any other club) but it would not be a fair reflection on Coventry's support if we tarnish them all with the same brush.

Can anyone at the back of L1 tell us if he celebrated when we scored? He was in front of me pretty much. Heard him sing, 'we are premier league' thought it was just a delusional city fan. The lad I asked after he got chucked out said he hadn't celebrated

Seems like the ginger, gobby, elephant man look-a-like came off worse by the looks of him when he got dragged out by the OB! It looked as if he got a pasting!

The only other set of away fans that I can remember doing that were Millwall last season. TBH it's not a surprising pair. Most football fans are well-behaved these days, rarely is there any trouble.

davieG Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 Not read the topic Arrests made at City's defeat Coventry Police are reporting that there were four arrests and six ejections before, during and after Coventry City's 2-0 defeat at Leicester City this afternoon. There were a number of incidents throughout the game before mass ranks of police outside the away end prevented any serious disorder between the two sets of fans. The arrests and ejections are all believed to be Coventry City supporters, something which left some City fans complaining about the way the policing of the game had been handled.
