Brizzle City Pre Match

I honestly hope not as poor as Marshall was yesterday, Gally has been quite bad this season and the fact he isn't winger doesn't help matters, Marshall's deliveries are 10 fold to Gally's.

I agree with you Happy but I think Pearson might well bring Gally back in anyway.

Time to start putting a run together now.

Brizzle are no great shakes, especially now Maynard's fvcked off to West Ham.

1-0 win, Beckford.

Why drop Beckford after he scores his first league goal in a while? Unchanged except for Kennedy in for suspended Konch.

Got to win this one, put a run together, especially with Reading and Birmingham coming up. I know we have the ability to win at Ashton Gate, and if we want to push for promotion, we need to be going to places like Bristol City and grinding out wins.

One change. Kennedy in for Konchesky, other than that, same team. Don't think we have any other suspensions and injuries, and I don't think we should change a winning team.

Adomah is Bristol City's most dangerous striker. If Kennedy can keep him quiet then we should'nt have a problem. That said, funny things happen when we play at Ashton Gate (although I couldn't see the funny side of last seasons comedy goal). The bonus now is that Weale won't be playing. No doubt that James will play his one match a season unbeatable performance.

Injured out for the rest of the season.

MUST WIN if we want play offs, 7 points off isn't too bad to reach if we can win on tuesday!

Never change a winning team unless you have to, kennerdy in for konch because he is suspended. Marshall has not been great so far but have faith I think he will come good once settled in more, however if we lose a game i would not surprised to see him changed for gally or drink. BUT THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, UNBEATEN FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON REMEMBER

I can't see any players getting rested at the moment, we need momentum, form and consistency going into the quarter final and that is achieved by winning games, I really wish NP would sort out his substitutions though (and by that I mean agree with me) we have a lot of games coming up, we were in control against Cov, I understand taking off Nugent he had a bit of a knock and has played a lot of football this season, but why bring off Beckford (for Howard FFS), would love to have seen Schlupp and Becks running at them in the last 15 minutes and Marshal, a young lad with a point to prove who will only benefit from more game time, especially when we have to put a CM out wide, and leave on Wellens and Konchesky who need to take days off for training. At least Konch has a rest coming up and will be back for Quarter Final.

Nigel, next time we are controlling the game against a piss poor side let some of the older players have a rest instead of always making the same fvcking substitutions.

Yep - Danns is playing well so wouldn't want to put his nose out of joint but Drinkwater is a class act and I'd like him to start

Keneddy for Konch obviously, id also like to find a starting place for Drinkwater (whether its Marshall or Danns who drops out ) id have Gally on bench in case we need a late free kick goal, a run similar to Readings current form and we will be up there

ive got to admit i didnt see the last game so im trusting what others say.

What has Schlupp done to get a starting place? And Kennedy at RB? lol

I wouldn't read too much into people's criticism of Marshall, he certainly didn't have a poor game, was very good coming back and helping out Peltier, he gaves the side a much more balanced look and we haven't been exposed down the right since he has come into the team, which often happened before. His delivery from corners was very good and he did have some good moments going forward. People seem to be focussing on a missed chance, which was not as bad as some of the missed chances we have had this season, he was also kept fairly quiet by their full back. I would certainly keep him in the team against Bristol.

Im going to go for a 2-1 win, with Schlupp bagging the winner.

I think that we'll probably win 2-0 with SSL and Morgan yet to concede in their partnership in league fixtures with the way Bristol City played at Ipswich I'll be suprised if they did concede. On the other end of the pitch I agree for Schlupp to grab the winner with Nugent also scoring! He's forever getting closer to getting 20 goals this season!

Bristol have conceded 3 in their last 3 games? This is Leicester. I can see us sneaking it 0-1 in fairness which I'd take but can also see us drawing it 2-2.

I'll be the classic pessimist and say 2-2. Nugent and Wellens.

Put Drinkwater in for Danns, I do like Danns but prefer Drinkwater personally.

I hope we don't drop Marshall, Gallagher is so ineffective away and especially in scrappy games like Bristol. I would rather have Marshall even if he didn't perform so well last game cause he shows more energy and commitment. Maybe bring Gallagher on towards the end, why not.
