Spudulike Posted 5 March 2012 Posted 5 March 2012 Not being funny but why go to loan a goalkeeper when we have Smith and Logan as backups not that we would need them? I'm glad we don't put on a keeper on the bench, no point. Ok, just remember that the next time that Kasper gets red carded.
martyn Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Can't see how we can get anything out of this game. Bristol city will be fuelled by the awesome power of their mega-rich (and local!) chairman, and the decisive goal scored by someone worth 10 million and to whom any move from Ashton Gate is a sideways step.
surrifox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 On the credit side Adomah possibly out of this one -. On the debit We are very benevolent when we play teams who are on a losing streak . I expect an absolute blinder from SSL who will remember his cock up in the first game!
Reynard Bleu Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 We have got get our heads right for this one. We mut not think back to back wins was the objective, its only s small step.We have got to be up for it and agressive, press the ball and take the game to them. They have had a poor run and we have to rub it in.
Happy Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Author Posted 6 March 2012 We just need to get that first goal and continuously press the opposition make a it a 3-0 score line then slow down the tempo. If we can do a Southampton away performance that would be the best.

Captain... Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Some very interesting games these next few days, the 4 teams above are playing each other, Tonight is Hull v Leeds Tomorrow is Brighton v Cardiff Tonight is also the FA Cup replay to decide who we are going to face in the Quarter Final, The teams in the play off spots that are playing have fairly straightforward ties on paper, but then football isn't played on paper and this is the championship and anything can, we need to do the only thing we can do and that is beat Brizzle, then we are guaranteed to make up points on 2 teams ahead of us (3 if you include Brum) and you never know Derby, Portsmouth or Barnesly could do us a favour. Lets see how the dust settles after today, we could be 5 points behind Blackpool with a game in hand...

We need to get above the teams outside the play-off spots because being 7 points behind might not seem like much but when you're 11th in the league, there are plenty of teams above us who are better placed to get in to the play-off's if anyone in the top 6 falters. Ideally if Hull/Leeds and Cardiff/Brighton draw and we win then things will start to get a little bit interesting.

Throw in a win at Reading at the weekend and I would really sit up and take notice....... (I am of course trying to be funny).....
Dan Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Genuinely not one bit bothered by other results if I'm honest, if we win our own games then we'll climb above people regardless, and tonight is the sort of game you think a failure to win will lose us points on other sides, such as Blackpool who won there last week.
Brooksy Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Who do we think will get sent off tonight then? Moneys on Nugent for looking at the fourth official
Ric Flair Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Who do we think will get sent off tonight then? Moneys on Nugent for looking at the fourth official Haha, how many sendings off have we had now? Must be nearly 10, we deserve a hefty fine or the ref's bloody do. (mainly the latter)
Steve Agnew Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 My prediction for this evenings starting line up. I think he'll rest Wellens for tough away game against Reading on Saturday, and give Gallagher a run-out. (Ledge or maybe Kasper to be given captaincy) Kasper Peltier Morgan St Ledger © Kennedy Gallagher Danns Drinkwater Dyer Beckford Nugent
StanSP Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Haha, how many sendings off have we had now? Must be nearly 10, we deserve a hefty fine or the ref's bloody do. (mainly the latter) 8 I think including Konchesky's red at the weekend. Definitely most in the league, followed by West Ham I think. We've also conceded the most penalties too!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 8 I think including Konchesky's red at the weekend. Definitely most in the league, followed by West Ham I think. We've also conceded the most penalties too! Think we've also hit the woodwork the most too? Typical Leicester.
StanSP Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Think we've also hit the woodwork the most too? Typical Leicester. Yep it was 21 or 22 before Coventry. Did we hit it on Saturday?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Can't wait for tonight, setting off just before 4, should be good Ok, just remember that the next time that Kasper gets red carded. Rob Green got red carded against Blackpool and West Ham didn't concede a goal against them with a 21 year old in goal
whoareyaaa Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 If we dont beat these tonight then we are going to have to call it a day because it will be the same all season long. Although I think we are in some pretty good form at the moment and creating a lot of chances so cant see us losing this as the defence looks solid also. 1st goal Dyer storms past the right mid and right back cross - Nugent Goal. We end up winning 0-3 and the 7 teams above us all draw.
Libertine Dream Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Setting off now for my 10th away game this season, can't wait, hope the Melbourne chant gets going. Another 2-0 win will do again.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Well not going tonight then! Let down at the last fvcking minute! Was looking forward to it aswell
Socks Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 I'm going for 2-1 to us. and after tonight's and tomorrows results according to my predictor we will be 4 points behind Birmingham in 6th who have 2 games in hand over us.
Simmo86 Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 First goal massive... We get it, we win comfortably. They get it, long night ahead. For the record reckon we'll get it!
acooling08 Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 What is the Melbourne chant? A song we're trying to nick from Australia?
One Arm Babba Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 3-0 Nugent hat trick for the first time in his career!
