I'm honestly laughing at the fact ANYONE could say Wellens or Mills have been our best player. Wellens has been very hit and miss and Mills the same. The fact we conceded goals without Mills doesnt make him a genius all of a sudden! I voted Nugent but Kasp deserves a mention too hes been brilliant. 2nd half of the season its been Danns but he took a while to get going. Seriously though...Mills? Wellens? Who voted for them? I want to know how often you listen to or watch the matches.

Are people still thinking Kasper for this?

Nugent for me by a country mile.

Runs his heart out. And continues to score goals.

It's of no surprise he's knackered.

Kasper and in a team with the aim of promotion in pre-season, your Goalkeeper (with no disrespect) shouldn't be anywhere near player of season.

definetly kasper, he has to be the only person who plays for us who has single handedly kept us from relegation imho.

he is ****ing brilliant, we must keep him at all costs. offer him whatever he needs, even when playing chelsea i was never worried. unlike with other keepers, who you are hoping they dont make a howler. it never entered my mind

you just have to look at the saves he's made compared with other keepers we've had, who seem to let in the easiest shots ever

I found it difficult to choose between Schmeichel and Nugent, but I opted for Kasper in the end.

Can't believe people have voted for St Ledger for player of the season so far. He's been one of the best players in the last 3 games, not season.

Bollox hes been outstanding since january. Pixked him over Konchesky, kasper, n Nugent because hes turned his xareer around completely here.

He's had a couple of poor games recently.

Nugent hasn't played well in some games, it's what they do over the season and for most of it Kasper has been superb.

So has Nugent.

Been very very impressed with him this season.

And I think he'll continue to deliver.

Kasper has been poor over the last few games but that doesn't take away the brilliant performances he put in earlier in the season.

Everyone has a bad game or two but with a keeper thetes no hiding from it.

My favourite players this season are all new signings. Kasper, Konchesky, SSL Beckford and Nugent

Kasper's done very well in comparison to our keeper over the past few years, but there's room for him to improve.

So for me it's Nugent

Actually, in the games he's played I've been very impressed with Dyer, sticks to the touchline brilliantly stretching the opposition, provides space for Konch's runs to cut inside... Just over the whole season under both managers Nugent has been the best.

I bet Ben Marshall would've been had he been afforded a whole season with us, weird at how Stoke let him go! So Kasper it is - unanimously!

They didn't "let him go", Stoke really wanted to keep hold of him but he refused a new contract there.
