Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Adelaide win the A League.

They've done a bit of a Leicester. Bottom in November and have gone on to win it!

50,000 Southern Aussies making a right racket!

I'll miss the A league. .Both for watching and betting.

lol same, Col. I had no idea they were bottom in November!

Yes mate. The run they've had is like ours! Amazing turnaround.

They were going to sack the manager and had already had discussions with potential replacements, he had one final game but they won and the rest is history.

RasenBallsport (RB) Leipzig, also known as Red Bull Leipzig due to Red Bull's massive financial backing and control since the club's conception in 2009, have been promoted to the Bundesliga in Germany.

It's an eerie sign of things to come and regarded as a triumph of commerce over football. Technically, Leipzig ought to have started way further down in the German football pyramid, but the league granted them an exception and thus an unfair advantage.

hummels to Bayern. classic Bayern.

And Renato Sanches confirmed an hour earlier.

Bayern getting their business done early before Pep is in at City. Dortmund must absolutely hate Bayern happens to them every year and Hummels probably wont be the only one to jump ship.

Hummels - Judas?

http://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2016/5/5/11599480/bayern-munich-transfer-rumors-mats-hummels-watzke-fan-video

Pondering a move to Bayern, then suddenly having second thoughts and pledging his allegiance to Dortmund, but is now returning to his boyhood club.

Maybe his girlfriend also pushed him over the edge, favouring the nightlife in Munich over the drab Ruhrpott surroundings?

Well, stranger things have happened. One can only hope Dortmund are finding a suitable replacement or already have done so.

53 million Euro for that duo is a lot of money, time will tell whether it was good business from Bayern's point of view.

The man, the beard, the legend:

SV Darmstadt's Marco "Toni" Sailer has just played his last game for the "Lilies" today, as he's been told he's surplus to requirements after three years at the club.

Bremen were 16th fighting for their survival before today's matches. Ended up finishing 13th lol

It's Frankfurt vs. Nuremberg for the last remaining spot in next year's Bundesliga! Tasty affair between two heavyweights.

Forgive my ignorance but have Bayern appointed a new manager yet? As in to take over from Pep?

It has been coming and was inevitable really: Udinese's Antonio Di Natale has now finally announced his retirement from pro football altogether at 38.

Following eight years at Empoli between 1996 and 2004 (including three loan spells at Viareggio, Varese and Iperzola), he then went on to represent Udinese for the remaining twelve years of his career, scoring 190 goals in 378 - a goal every second game. He was once called one of the best footballers past the age of 30.

That would be Eskisehirspor (try to spell that, it's a monster!):

Just look at the sadness in the home section after Basaksehir - who are going to feature in the Europa League - scored the winner in the 90th minute:

To put things into perspective, they're getting a new stadium, anyway.
