AKCJ Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Oakham is virtually 100% Leicester (minus the odd glory supporter).
halferowley2 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Hinckley and Lutterworth are pretty much a city towns just with the odd Cov scum fan and glory hunting boys. I was wondering are towns like Market Harborough the same just with say more cobblers fans and is this similar for places like Coalville with Derby fans? Harborough - football fans support foxes but its mainly a rugby town that supports tigers.
blueharmie Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Harborough - football fans support foxes but its mainly a rugby town that supports tigers. A rugby town? **** off mate talking crap.

Tuna Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Grantham is all Forest supporters and a few Lincoln City fans. We aren't that near Leicester though!

Infact to that nob that's said we are a rugby town go **** yourself. willy puller. seem to have upset a few folk sorry about that but there are a lot of rugby fans in Harborough but I supported foxes for 60 years
Guy Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 seem to have upset a few folk sorry about that but there are a lot of rugby fans in Harborough but I supported foxes for 60 years Christ, anybody would think you'd called them Forest fans or something, unless calling a football fan a rugby fan is deemed as an even bigger insult?! Sounds like a dangerous place to go if these hostile responses from Harborough-rites are anything to go by! A nice leisure centre is situated there though!
Dan Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Narborough, pretty much all Leicester with your occasional random outsider. Few glories too.
Burmesefox Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Harborough is all leicester and no cobblers fans. The remainder of the kids tend to support Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool etc owing to it being quite a middleclass town with parents who have moved about a bit and have no emmotional attchment to a specific place. My lad plays for Hatrb town under 8's and judging by the shirts that the kids train in (all ages which is around 70 odd) it's 50% city and the remainder are all the big prem clubs.
Out Foxed Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 A nice leisure centre is situated there though! i think i'm correct in saying steven seagal played a gig there.
Burmesefox Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Bit of a tangent this but I've just been on a drugs and alcohol awareness course ( for work, not myself) and Market Harborough apparently has the biggest drugs problem amongst young men in the county. Relatively affluent and direct rail links to London being the cause. Anyway, back to the footy... yeah we love a bit of charley in the Coke hill pub, I mean Oat Hill pub.

My lad plays for one of the under 11 teams at Harboro,I help out with the coaching. You're much spot on though with your opinion,IMO !!
blueharmie Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 yeah we love a bit of charley in the Coke hill pub, I mean Oat Hill pub. oh yar, one enjoys a grammage or two of the devils dandruff. then off to watch the ruggers, with all ones middle clarse friends whuuume support teams such as liverpool and that manchaster utd because there mamas and papa's have moved about a bit and have no emmotional attchment to a specific place, unlike these terrible gypsys we have here. ta taaa.
