chris_lcfc_85 Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Folks that time again when another season draws upon us... Yes its been frustrating but we have had some plus points so lets keep positive and vote for your favourite....
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 Was gonna put team performance of the season in there too but guessing the Norwich game would win.... Goal of the season was too tough to narrow down as there's been a few. Just for the record my player of the season is Kasper Schmeichel
SemperEadem Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Konchesky for me, but Dyer under Pearson has to be up there.
Petchy Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Kasper or Konch for me. I'll go for Konch as I have a feeling everyone else will go for Schmeichel.
cc_star Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Kasper has had a good season, but he's been eratic in some games too Peltier had a good 1st half the season, but poor by his standards 2nd half Nugent has been good the overwhelming majority of time, but sometimes he's just not at the races Danns had a poor 1st half, but NP set a system up which allowed him to shine Wellens did well in this time too Lately Dyer has been brilliant, a few MotM performances recently, but before that thanks to either management, formation or other things there wasn't the place for him in the team Can only assume Bamba is mentioned for some kind of joke Overall it has to be Konch, he's performed great for both managers and is consistently a top performer
Babylon Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Overall it has to be Konch, he's performed great for both managers and is consistently a top performer Would be my choice also.
Corky Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Sean St Ledger. Looked on his way out, and instead produced the greatest comeback since Lazarus © Sid Waddell.
ScouseFox Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Konchesky I reckon. Don't recall him having a shocker all season, week in week out he has a standard 7/10 and every now and then he has a stormer, and I remember I gave him a 10/10 once, I think it might have been Palace at home. A 10! For a feckin left back. He's been the best of a pretty bad bunch to be honest. Only competition would come from Kasper, who's had occasional poor games and a few weak points, and Nuge, but every now and then he disappears off the face of the earth.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 5 April 2012 Author Posted 5 April 2012 Konch has been class in fairness, mr consistent. However dont see how some can say Kasper has had too many poor games.... He's made some saves this season that would be a highlight in any league in the world plus he must of saved 3/4 pens this season, a great stat!
BrumFox Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Can someone explain to me what the point of having an 'other' category is? Has to be Konch, he's on the back of my shirt. Kasper a close second.

So the mods don't get PM's saying "where's the option for Fernandes/Johnson/Weale/Filbert/Top on the POTS poll?".

Kasper a close second. Other is there just incase there's any deluded fans whole heartedly believe there is another player that should be player of the season. I'd like to think if someone voted other, they'd say who and why.....
Libertine Dream Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 1. The Fans at games 2. The Fans at games 3. The Fans at games As for the players I think over the course of the season only 3 deserve a mention, Kasper, Konch, Nugent, but theyre still miles behind the fans at games.
