Happy Fox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 No chance unless he wants £10,000 a week, with FFP coming in next season we cannot afford his wages.
carlhltid Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Have you been asleep reading this thread? He brings other players into the game. yea because he cant do fook all himself
carlhltid Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 anyone can hold the ball up and then pass it 5 yards i say noooooooo to heskey
Mark_w Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 anyone can hold the ball up and then pass it 5 yards Have you been to a Leicester game recently?
goose2010 Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 anyone can hold the ball up and then pass it 5 yards i say noooooooo to heskey ok its your opinion that you don't want heskey and I respect that, but to say anyone can hold the ball up?? seriously? it takes a certain type of player to do this effectively and to be honest there isn't many better for FREE than heskey at this.
Greg2607 Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 alot of people here want to see heskey back in an leicester shirt but imo he aint good enough hes too slow and dont score many goals anymore he played for a few teams and never really got on at any . career goals = 151 in 692 games. leicester 46 goals in 197 apps liverpool 60 goals in 223 apps birmin gham 16 goals in 78 apps wigan 15 goals in 88 apps villa 14 goals in 106 apps this is awfull for a centre forward and pretty sure howard has a better goal return than that . so why do people want the goal machine heskey back playing for us . remind me again how many appearances Steve Howard has for Liverpool? remind me how many appearances Steve Howard has at premier league level? There really isn't a comparison. My mate used to score 30 goals a season in the Charnwood Sunday League. He has a FAR better goal to games ratio than Heskey. Come to think of it....I'll see if he fancies playing for Leicester. What a ridiculous comparison.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 I dont see why people would turn their noses up at this signing.... Granted he'd need to lower his wage but people ramble on about target men or a 'different' option. This guy would be class in the Championship for a season. FAR more mobile and BETTER than Steve Howard
SMX11 Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Money shouldn't be an issue, if he is a genuine Leicester supporter at his stage of career, surely getting us back into the prem would be the only goal left.
RumbleFox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 yea because he cant do fook all himself Before I make the obvious comments about the level of English on dislay can I first ask whether you have a learning disability? I would hate to make fun of you if so. EMILE EMILE EMILE EMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X Money shouldn't be an issue, if he is a genuine Leicester supporter at his stage of career, surely getting us back into the prem would be the only goal left.

RumbleFox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Oh I forgot footballers only care about money Haha, it's not that it is just your assumption. Like would you take a massive pay cut at the end of your career to join a comany you used to work for and really like? I love Emile and I think we would like to come back and I also think maybe he does not care about the money and might even take a big cut but I would never assume it and you worded it like if he didn't he is not a true fan and is greedy. Do want you want Emile, I love you either way! Anyway fvck it! We're all Leicester fans! COME ON YOU BLUES!!! X

PegguyArphexad Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Found myself at Villa Park on Tuesday. Christ the football was bad. But, I genuinely thought Heskey looked good. Of course he hasn't got blistering pace but he is a very intelligent footballer. Good in the air and some of his movement and passes around the box was dangerous. If he wanted to come back and for the right price we would have a hell of a footballer on our team.... Of course he is not going to bag 100 goals a season, probably not even 20. BUT he will create a lot more goals in the team. He will hold the ball up well and could form a pretty potent spearhead for an attack consisting of himself, nugent and beckford.
RumbleFox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Blimey RumbleFox, do you have a learning disability too? Your English is also terrible! Yes. Yes I do. That's why I was asking him first because I know how much it can hurt. X

X at least ive got some sort of brain heskey is crap and may i say people like you need to jog on and find something else to do with your life other than taking the p*ss out of people you must have had a bad childhood or something me thinks
RumbleFox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 at least ive got some sort of brain heskey is crap and may i say people like you need to jog on and find something else to do with your life other than taking the p *ss out of people you must have had a bad childhood or something me thinks It's not that it's just I am a dullard and have little to no personality so I use anonymous chat rooms to vent my frustrations because in real life I'm an absolute coward. I'm a fvcking pathetic little man I really am. X
carlhltid Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Have you been asleep reading this thread? He brings other players into the game. mate ive seen enough football matches to know a good player when i see one and ime sorry to say this but heskey is rubbish there are alot of younger better quicker players out there that can hold the ball up and bring other players into play than him and ime pretty sure they would bag more goals than him too
RumbleFox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 mate ive seen enough football matches to know a good player when i see one and ime sorry to say this but heskey is rubbish there are alot of younger better quicker players out there that can hold the ball up and bring other players into play than him and ime pretty sure they would bag more goals than him too Whether he is you cup of tea or not I do not feel you could call Heskey Rubbish. He is actually the 15th all time top scorer in the premiership and pretty much every manager and player that has ever worked with him has sung his praises. Like I said, if you do not like him that is fine but to say he is rubbish is just a little silly. X

Your argument earlier was that Howard was a better player. He isn't. Also, we have plenty of YOUNG striking talent in players like Hopper, Schlupp and Waghorn....surely an "old head" with the amount of experience mentioned above is going to be of benefit to the squad?
carlhltid Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 and how many of these "younger", "better" players have over 350 premier league appearances, nearly 120 senior goals and over 60 international caps..............and of those.........how many are available on a free? or for a relatively cheap price? Greg2607 Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 yes but heskey is rubbish ffs cant people see this No, you just sound like another of those individuals who is entirely educated by the opinions of the red top newspapers. cant YOU see that Howard isn't a better player then Heskey?
Heskey2011 Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Heart says yes, head says no... Heart says yes, head says maybe, i would honestly be devestated if the boo boys at City got on his back, lowered his confidence... you know the rest.. it could be a nightmare. However he is just the type of player to bring the best out of his strike partner, i could see Beckford or more so Nugent feeding off him and actually getting a high teens to 20ish goal tally. Numerous england and club strikers have said he's their preferred partner, owen defoe rooney etc etc If nothing else shirt sales would cover his wages i would have thought
carlhltid Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 No, you just sound like another of those individuals who is entirely educated by the opinions of the red top newspapers. cant YOU see that Howard isn't a better player then Heskey? yes i will agree with that i shouldnt have put that but i still say heskey is rubbish and i dont read the papers ive watched thousands of football matches lots with heskey playing in them and he does nothing for me only 5 yard passes and fall over alot of the time. sorry thats just my oppinion think we could get someone who holds the ball up better than him and dosnt fall over quite so much

Fact... falling over alot has its advantages!
carlhltid Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 ile bet all of you a rep point that np dosnt bring in heskey he aint daft like alot of you are
