harryboi72 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 depends how much he would be on a week, relatively cheap then yes, high wages then no
Salieri Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Seems to be quite a split of opinions on this subject. Poll required.
burni Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 If they option was there i would never say no providing its a modest wage etc. would be a world apart from Howard in terms of skill whilst his experience is what we needed for a good team
Fox92 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Yes I do. I want a mobile target man to partner Nugent anyway, so Heskey would be an excellent signing. Although his goalscoring record isn't very good, he is excellent at holding the ball up and bringing other players into play.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Came on yesterday against Sunderland and won more headers than Howard has done all season. Think a target man is definitely required, not to just boot the ball up to but to be big and strong holding the ball up and bring others into the game. Why as soon as people mention 'target man' suddenly assume we would be playing hoofball? A major problem this season is when we have been under the cosh (Particularly away from home) the ball just comes straight back because Nugent and Beckford don't hold the ball up very well. So its a yes for Big Em from me.
wellyfox Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Well that will be nxt seasons Johnson sorted then paid to sit in the sick bay. Any idea's to cover Fernandes?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 If he was prepared to take a large cut in wages and be used off the bench for the most part, then I can't see why not; but as someone to be a regular first teamer, sorry Vassell does what he does and better.
Lambert09 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 I would rather use the wage to try and lure Ledley King here. Not sure if it would ever happen but if teams arent willing to risk his leg we might be in with a shout?

sdb Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 He'd boss this league, I really do think. However I bet we'd end up paying over the odds, wage-wise. If i'm honest - Beckford, Nugent, Schlupp and Waghorn is easily good enough to get us out this division. People don't rate them cause the grass is always greener but if we'd just signed those 4 we'd be beside ourselves. Heskey would be some addition though, and an excellent option with regards to a plan B. It'd get me excited too, probably sway me towards a season ticket.

foxesfan1989 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Yes! We need someone to play with a bit of passion for a club
Jollie Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 I would love Heskey to come back, there is no question he'd be brilliant at this level!
Lambert09 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 No chance. He's England's best CB when fit! Used to be. He has slipped a lot this season. Spurs arent going to renew his contract. Its a very unlikely one but a brave club would have to step up. Similar to the Hargreeves situation. More realistic than it sounds tbh
Bettsj2 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 I think it would be best for everyone if he just came back.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Sadly NO, the sentimental part of me says YES,however i think the team needs an injection of steel and some ceative flair in midfield. As much as I love the home grown passion of an Emile return and appreciate what he's done in the game and for us previously. I personally do not think this move would fit what we require.

We've had about 10 managers in a row that havent addressed that problem so I dont expect that to change anytime soon. Heskey would solve that problem. Just from the sheer fact that he's ****ING AMAZING!!
Daggers Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 YOU`VE GOT TO BE FVCKING KIDDING!!!!!! Are you all pissed up or just plain retarded? They should stop selling retarded children alcohol, imho.
