brockmyster Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Its back up if anyone fancies a look http://www.thepfa.com/transferlist
Smiithy Fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Jamie Ashdown is a good shout as a back up keeper! Zak Whitbread is on there too from Norwich, Wouldn't mind him pairing up with wes or our new CB (if any)
Kierzz Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Patrick Agyemang is a decent target man for squad rotation. Owen Hargreaves would take this league apart if he could stay fit. Folan would be quality if he can stay fit as well. I would take Guthrie any day, he was awesome when Newcastle got promoted. Clinigan's a good player too.
Petchy Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Conrad Logan's on there, but he wasn't mentioned on the OS? Thought they were offering him an extension or something.
Smiithy Fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 I agree with Hargreaves, but does he really have the right mentality for it now? It was a similar situation to Johnson last season, they've both got the ability, but as they've been out for so long, do they have the mentality to get out there and try to get their fitness levels up to be playing regularly.
Fox92 Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 We should get Andy Gray just so he doesn't score against us for once Seriously though, Akos Buzsaky, Keith Andrews and Danny Guthrie. in particular are players I'd take. As Petchy said though, the list isn't that correct/up to date. Jack Hunt is listed although he signed a new deal with Huddersfield recently.

thewarmanator Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Patrick Agyemang is a decent target man for squad rotation Errr is this the same guy that was on loan at a league 2 team? No thanks
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Don`t think we should look at any player`s that are going to be injury prone, had far to many injuries in squad last season and johnson hardly ever played.
Narborough_fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Heard a bit about Didier Drogba but I'm not sure if he's worth the risk with his age. Never know without taking the risk thugh!
Saxondale Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 I notice that David Cotterill who we were supposed to be signing in January is up for grabs again. Sounds like he's not ripped up any trees at Barnsley.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Heard a bit about Didier Drogba but I'm not sure if he's worth the risk with his age. Never know without taking the risk thugh! lol lol
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Heard the GB Olympics diving team's already in for Drogba. I don't know, Would him and Nugent really be a good pairing?
brockmyster Posted 3 June 2012 Author Posted 3 June 2012 Errr is this the same guy that was on loan at a league 2 team? No thanks Nope it wasnt

Or are you just picking random names out of a hat?
Callabinho Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 No chance of getting hugo Haha I know, would be nice!
RonnieTodger Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Some of these are cracking players. Danny Murphy would be quality and a captain, as would Johnson. Not sure if they'd fancy a step down though
samstown92 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 I reckon Drogba would do a job, Pearsons kind of player!
artursteppe Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 I agree with Hargreaves, but does he really have the right mentality for it now? It was a similar situation to Johnson last season, they've both got the ability, but as they've been out for so long, do they have the mentality to get out there and try to get their fitness levels up to be playing regularly. I would think that his incredible journey after very many months of determined, focused desire to get fit enough to play again must conclusively prove he has the right mentality. Why would you think anything else?
Lambert09 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Danny Murphy would be great, Im not sure what sort of teams will be in for him but Ryan Nelson would be sick, I imagine he is prem bound though. The list isnt accurate...Heskey is still on it
kingfox Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Heaton Tchoyi Guthrie Heskey Realistic players worth looking at.
Walshy5 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Some great players there- Murphy, Guthrie, Whitbread, Nelson. Cant see that any would come here though.
