RonnieTodger Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7801171/Bruce-lines-up-Heskey-for-Hull Of all teams.
chapmanleicester Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 knew he wouldn't come here, nigel pearson hates the fans choice stubborn old goat
Mark_w Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 If we offer him a contract, I'm confident he'd choose us over Hull unless they offer silly money.
Happy Fox Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Would like him here, but if we are to get Futacs than we don't need another target man. NP prefers youth, and John Percy called it along time ago that he would doubt we would offer him a contract.
AKCJ Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Shame if true. I bet if we were to offer him a contract he'd snap it up instantly. Fryatt and Heskey could prove quite effective.
lcfcsnow Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Great news, I thought we were certain to be lumbered with him.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Great news, I thought we were certain to be lumbered with him. Are there any players/managers or whatever you DO like? Nearly every one of your posts is relating to who we shouldn't sign, why we are so crap etc.. I think Drinkwater, Morgan and Ben are great signings. I trust Nige and Walsh in their signings. Who do you want to sign because you appear to dismiss nie on everybody?
Guest Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Heskey and Fryatt - they'd score 10 against us every game.
hbkkids Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 well i and 122 other people look a bit daft.... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Emile-Heskeys-Coming-Home/222797481171189
Ricey Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 You'd think ending your career at Leicester would out-weigh playing under Steve Bruce again, so maybe we haven't offered him a contract after all. Shame.

dog_4 Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 former targetman target robert lewandanski just scored for poland. Nigel know's what he's doing and spots talent for fun.

I won't be happy till we've signed a playmaker in midfield to replace Wellens and a pacey winger to replace Dyer. I suppose the thought of watching these two again next season is getting to me
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 I won't be happy till we've signed a playmaker in midfield to replace Wellens and a pacey winger to replace Dyer. Ah... Absolutely on the same wavelength with you there. Not to automatically replace Dyer though.. To compete with him for the position.
KFS Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 former targetman target robert lewandanski just scored for poland. Nigel know's what he's doing and spots talent for fun. You what?
Mark_w Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 I won't be happy till we've signed a playmaker in midfield to replace Wellens and a pacey winger to replace Dyer. Matt James could well be that playmaker, can't judge him till we've seen him.

Jace Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 Doesn't surprise me Hull can afford him after we top up their bank accounts for Pearson, Chester and Cameron Stewart. I hope Pearson knows what he's doing letting this opportunity go
Fox92 Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 If we have offered him a contract (was that true?) then the ball is in his court, Nigel has done all he can surely. Massive shame if he chooses to join another Championship club, especially Hull
Petchy Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 I'm going to be absolutely devastated if he goes there. I mean, Hull, of all places.
Jace Posted 8 June 2012 Posted 8 June 2012 If we have offered him a contract (was that true?) then the ball is in his court, Nigel has done all he can surely. Massive shame if he chooses to join another Championship club, especially Hull Knowing Pearson he probably offered Heskey £1000 per week plus a £20,000 per goal bonus
