Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 June 2013 Posted 22 June 2013 Destro is a quality player on that game. Had him for so years before selling.him when he reached 29. Very injury prone though, always out for three weeks at a time.never one or two days.
Finnegan Posted 22 June 2013 Posted 22 June 2013 He's not as good as Manolo Gabbiadini, though. If that boy didn't have Shoots With Power and range as PPMs he'd be stunning.
Jordan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 It seems as though Iceland is a decent country to use if you're a lazy player because the league is only 22 games long, and most chairman seem forgiving (let's face it: there's not much at stake in the Icelandic 2nd tier, where every club is semi-pro). There's also a shitty "Upper League Cup" before the season with a group stage that's an 8-team round robin; it doesn't really matter to any second division teams, and you can use it to take care of preseason. However, because the league it only 22 games long, when your "star" (relatively speaking) playmaking midfielder hurts his knee and misses a month in the 2nd half of the season, your promotion chances will evaporate pretty quickly... Sigh.
Far Post Gerry Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Just won the quintuple with City (2020 season) - Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Euro Super Cup and World Club Cup. Sadly lost in the Champions League quarter finals to Real Madrid. Still, maybe it's time to pack the game up and get on with my life.
Fox_in_spain Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I wanna play as Tahiti. You can - just use a custom database, and add players of Tahitian Nationality. Doing it myself atm
Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 He's a bit average, tbh. Hiljemark, Jali or Adryan will do the DLP role far cheaper until you find yourself a worldy of a regen. Have you tried Ander Herrera or Andrea Poli? I've took a gamble. Gone and bought Goretzka. He looks absolutely class.

Doing it myself atm I've had to restart it, as Vahirua hadn't declared for Tahiti...if you're going to do it I suggest that you change that in FM Editor...
Bugg Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I've took a gamble. Gone and bought Goretzka. He looks absolutely class. Good choice, he's not brilliant to start with, but he does become brilliant.
Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Good choice, he's not brilliant to start with, but he does become brilliant. Got to bear in mind Strootman was hard to get because of the price. I could pay his wages but £18mil was out of our range to be honest, and by the looks of it the likes of Poli would've been too. I did have the future in mind with Goretzka but he was one of Bochum's best players aged 17 and he was only £7mil, with a low wage too. Intend to use him as first choice because he's got cracking stats.
NewburyFox Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I appear to have a plethora of talented CBs coming through at once, several have the potential to become leading stars for Ligue 1 clubs. Got no idea what to do with them all! Love the academy with this club, aside from CBs we've got very good talent in loads of other positions too. CS Sedan Ardennes are a very good club to manage.
Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Was embarrassed by that one and then Zenit go and beat us 3-0 again. I better enjoy this whilst it lasts. Look towards the bottom of my screenshot...
Finnegan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I wouldn't worry about friendliess, tbh. Good luck against Bayern, hope Dortmund shaft you.
Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I'll probably get hammered in both but will be playing them shortly.

Sigh. I spoke too soon... we went WWWDWW in the last six games (including back-to-back away wins to end the season) and got some unexpected help from the two relegated teams to sneak into 2nd place by one point and win promotion I've got some questions about the FM2013 Editor: If I make a change (i.e. add a player or change a team's kit) with it, can I put that in a game that's already started, (and if so, how?) or would that only take effect in a new game?
Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Beaten at Bayern 2-1. Cvnting fvcking hell. Why do I never turn up in the big games? I guarantee we lose 2-1 at Dortmund too.

Dan Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 What team talk are you using? Passionate for the fans, or no pressure. Neither seem to do the trick.
NewburyFox Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 I can't offer my star players new contracts because I can't afford the wages they want. I've already lost a central midfielder (leaving on a free at the end of the season) because I can't offer more than £15,000. My star player Vada, currently on like £10k, is asking for over £35,000pw (well his agent is, who apparently hates me) which I've got no hope of meeting. His contract expires in 18 months but I really don't want to lose him. Hopefully he will have reduced his demands in the summer and I can offer a bit more money. Anyone else had problems like this? I understand that unfortunately this is a very natural problem in the footballing world
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Lost 2-0. I don't think I've ever won a derby. Not good enough
