Bert Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 just don't like 1st team regulars having numbers that high Well Vardy has requested 33 so you'd better get used to it.
dpjfox Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Vardy wore "33" for Fleetwood, lets hope its his goal tally
Fox42 Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Vardy wore "33" for Fleetwood, lets hope its his goal tally He scored 34 for Fleetwood last season
Danno Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Beckford aint going nowhere, hes number 9 next season Source?
Jimmy Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Sorry to break it to you but Beckford won't make it to the first game, out the door soon! Source? Beckford will have 9 unless he's sold, and the 1st quote is who you should of been asking for a source
The Doctor Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Beckford aint going nowhere, hes number 9 next season If he "ain't going nowhere", then why would we give him a shirt number?
GingerrrFox Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 I'm not saying it to aggravate anyone or make it sound like I know everything about the ins and outs of the club because I don't BUT I do have it on good ground that Beckford won't be here next season and also don't be surprised if Konchesky isn't either.
Webbo Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Don't players tend to keep the number they were first given all through their career at one club? I can't think of any player who's ever changed their number(I might be wrong there )
Jimmy Posted 4 July 2012 Posted 4 July 2012 Don't players tend to keep the number they were first given all through their career at one club? I can't think of any player who's ever changed their number(I might be wrong there ) Paul Gallagher, Andy King, Matt Oakley, Steve Howard, Conrad all had at least 2 in some cases 3 different numbers with us alone

To be honest i could go around sayin this as i think most fans know they are more than likely two of the, if not the highest earners at the club and with FFP coming in etc etc

Fox92 Posted 6 July 2012 Posted 6 July 2012 Bolton announced their numbers yesterday, so it could be close. Thought it was usually late July. ... Mills has 4
Fox42 Posted 6 July 2012 Posted 6 July 2012 We don't have enough players yet to announce our numbers. I reckon 11th August when the stadium announcer calls them just before ko.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 July 2012 Posted 9 July 2012 Vardy said on twitter that he's staying as 33
Fox92 Posted 9 July 2012 Posted 9 July 2012 Training kit numbers are always different. Thank God someone else has said it! Get fed up with 'Gallagher has 17' etc comments I've said on here today, as I do every season, they are always different.
