I was told yesterday by a colleague in Dundee, that Pernis was initially only taken on a short-term basis, to work as training cover until Schmeichel returned from his 'Euro break'. As the club only had one experienced keeper (Logan), they wanted another to work the training routines in Schmeichels absence - Pernis was available, so they took him. With Kasper travelling out to the Austrian training camp on Sunday - for his first training sessions back this summer, Pernis was to move on; but, Pearson and Stowell have been quite impressed - and have asked him to also go to Klagenfurt.
