tylesta Posted 2 September 2012 Posted 2 September 2012 oscars 3 advance couriers 3 (ht1-3) wow what a game of football today we played a team who have won 40 plus honours at the highest level in sunday football!!! we dominated them for 70% of the game today we made them play the long ball game as we was superb didn't let them play football at all unlucky not to win imo.

A draw against a hotly tipped side who massively disappointed me after all the hype to be honest.bottom two of div 7 last season again meeting on the first day of the season. Both teams have added to their squads and a close fought game saw fccol take the lead early on. After that carnabys dominated to the end, should have scored more than once and a few offsides given if we could hold our line we'd be 1 on 1 and could have scored 5 or 6. A few nervy last minutes as fccol took precedent but all in all a well fought draw on the first day

If he's THAT good why is he in div 4? i can name at least 20 players that are in divison 4 or below that could play higher alot, sundays is about mates and a laugh and taken a lot less serious than saturdays.. look at divison 6 with harborough hotshots they had ash robbo playing if he's that good why was he playing in divison 6

Narborough_fox Posted 2 September 2012 Posted 2 September 2012 Won our (Thurlaston Magpies) first game of the season 4-1 against Barwell in Under-16s Division 2. Can't complain at all, played with 10 men for 15 minutes after gaining 3 injuries.
