league above jimmy avoided you in the moore group stage aswell

Solid start for you boys I see, could be a very tight Prem this season!

Yeh, have to say we are disappointed with the Moore draw, wanted to face one or two of the top teams, but now we'll still fall at the group stage without getting a crack at a major upset!

Fairfield Dynamo = Throops. No?

Anyone knocking about in Division 1 of The Alliance?

We've got a few throops lads, but mainly St Andrews, Blaby & Whetstone and a few Kirkby muxloxe lads.

Beat little Bowden 6-2. Absolute bunch of cocks. Their lino/manager (who also supports stoke) was a right cheating cock and after some deep abuse we received there last season, we taught them how to play how we do in 'our developing country' lol

Nice 3 points to start the season though.

yeah disapointed not to take all 3 points to be fair we outplayed them, need to stamp out mistakes at the back tough game friday night battled with wcb many times over the years they have one strong midfield.

Ashby Ivanhoe 10-0 Loughborough Academicals

I didn't play due to other commitments but from what I've heard they were awful! Looks like a 2nd successive relegation for them if they carry on like that.

Good bunch of lads. Played with Dykey last season he will get them a fair few goals.

One of the Dykey's have gone prem sports travel I believe. Big loss.

AFC sporting Charnwood 8 - 0 hugglescoat, good start to the season for us. They played a 5-3-2 with wing backs against our 4-2-3-1. Pinned their wing backs back and just dominated from start to finish

lol you were playing Racing Club Hugglescote, not Hugglescote FC, different matter all together! Although that's still a decent win.

10-0 Ivanhoe win over Loughborough Accies as Simo said, probablyy a bit lucky to play them out of term time I expect they will improve then, if they don't they will with out a doubt finish bottom as they were were pretty bad, not taking anything away from us was a decent performance.

Not a clue, we were just told it was hugglescoat, we knew they ran away with division 3 last season from what they told us. Hoping we are able to win a few trophies if we carry on like that each week. Riverside up next for us played them in a friendly about 4 weeks ago and they are nothing special as long as we go into the game in the right frame of mind

Ah I see. Expect you to do very well this season then!

Good luck with it mate, it's about time someone else was in the shake up at the top of the prem. I'll be rooting for Moshdock though, know a few of their lads and they share a boozer with us.

Hopefully. But I'm sure you know how difficult it is getting everyone up on a Sunday morning. Like yesterday we only had 12 turn up.

:nono: Did they heck. They finished 4th in Division 4, they did win the Sunday Vase but they got a bit fortuante with that. Cross Keys ran away with Division 3, Hugglescote FC came 2nd, and they will give you a game.

How did they get promoted to div 2 then ahead of teams in div 3? As far as i was aware we have one hugglescote team in our league but then on our website we have just the 7 teams in our league and the main league website isnt up and running yet. Have you seen the division 2 league? could you share this.

lol, They were promoted to division two as they set up a reserve side, as did AFC the Vic who won Division Four who are also a Huggls based side. To avoid there reserves having to fold if either of those teams were relegated from division three they were both placed in division two. Doesn't really make a great deal of sense to me but that is how they've done it.

I wouldn't get too excited about beating them, bigger tests lie ahead of you good result that it is, the team you want to watch is Hugglescote United who as you will see lie 2nd atm.

How are The Vic a Hugglescote based side when the pub's in Coalville?

Their all from Hugglecote? Set up by all Hugglescote United players innit. Just sponsored by the Vic.

Won in the first round of the cup beating Shepshed 4-2. Made a triple save which included getting one square in the face. Good to get another win under our belts even if we haven't be overly convincing.
