ashfosse Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 http://www.bcfc.com/...hed-305602.aspx Anyone think this is a good idea?....or is it a bit sad? villa have certainly been ripping the p*ss out of this. it seems really organised and the club appear to have really taken to it. if it comes off and creates a better atmosphere then fair enough....certainly a lot more official than the fosse boys..... WYS
Simmo86 Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Decent. Any club encouraging a better atmosphere at home games has got to be credited. Villa can take the piss all they like, but Villa Park is a like a morgue!
marko Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I'll tell you how shit it is tomorrow Pot. Kettle. Black.
Simmo86 Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I'll tell you how shit it is tomorrow They'll make more noise than the 1,500 of you going up there and sitting on your hands for 90 minutes!
Father Ted Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 They'll make more noise than the 1,500 of you going up there and sitting on your hands for 90 minutes! It would be more if it wasn't for Birminghams 'reputation'
Guest Bilo Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I'll tell you how shit it is tomorrow From the sounds of things on the other thread, most of the shit will you be in your seats.

Bilbo Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Choreographed Celebrations?! WTF? I'm so sick of clubs trying to create a "match day experience" or improve the atmosphere somehow. I go to watch football and that's all I care about.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 A manufactured atmosphere can be cringeworthy you can't beat the atmosphere success brings, so i think there will be a good atmosphere this season
Dan Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 My Brum mate is very much against it. Once again though puts our club to shame who try and pretend to care about the atmosphere when I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were actually anti-it with their antics. We'll see.
Finnegan Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I really hope Lamby's taking his kevlars and a spare pair of undies. That's ****ing brutal. High risk.
Lamby Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I really hope Lamby's taking his kevlars and a spare pair of undies. That's ****ing brutal. High risk. I'm packing them now as I type this
Bert Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 I'll tell you how shit it is tomorrow Or we'll just find out when we go there ourselves.
Kitchandro Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 What are they doing exactly? Other than the unreserved seating (which is potentially a good idea) the rest of it seemed a bit vague.
Stand UP... Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Well done on them for trying and convincing the club to back them, shame the fosse boys didnt have that support. good luck to them.
Simmo86 Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 What are they doing exactly? Other than the unreserved seating (which is potentially a good idea) the rest of it seemed a bit vague. Smoke bombs, flares and shiz!
AKCJ Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Even gayer than the Fosse Boys. What happened to just singing at a football ground? Why you have to be in a special group is beyond me.
Fox92 Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Remember last time they have flares, when they beat Villa in the cup. Always a great derby to watch.
Stand UP... Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Even gayer than the Fosse Boys. What happened to just singing at a football ground? Why you have to be in a special group is beyond me. Because no one sings in a football ground, no one sings when there sat down on there seats. It takes 'groups' who want to stand all the game, hardcore fans such as L1 hence everyone stands!

It takes 'groups' who want to stand all the game, hardcore fans such as L1 hence everyone stands! Exactly, it's not like the old days where 20,000 people are happy to stand and join in when the atmosphere compels them to. Lots of clubs have tried to organise groups in this day and age because there is sadly only a small percentage that like standing and singing at home grounds. I don't know why people take the piss out of the fosse boys so much, they made some mistakes but they had the right intentions and didn't do anything particularly embarrassing.
davieG Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 What are they doing exactly? Other than the unreserved seating (which is potentially a good idea) the rest of it seemed a bit vague. Well they're letting them take banners and flags (not that i'm a big fan of them) in and not trying to stop them before they start, the club that is, unless it's all an LCFC type smokescreen and they eject them and ban them after the first game.
