AKCJ Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Rooney and Defoe should have scored their chances. Now we're looking to hold onto a point. Forget about a 3 goal lead.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 What was Hart doing?! Never getting there. Did he expect it to magically pass through the attacker and Lescott?
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 We're a really poor all over the field. I know it's not an easy place to go but we should be able to keep possession better
kingfox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Joe Hart that was shocking, Blue Square standard, and people say he is the best goalkeeper in the World, bollocks even Carson would of probably got to that, or decided to stay in his goal. Now Rooney comes off, yet Carrick and Milner are still on the pitch. Rubbish from Royston, Royston Cropper could do a better job.
martyn Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Rooney was abysmal, no problem with him being taken off.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Cleverley is just a nothing footballer. To think that he's the second best (and Wilshere may never be the same again) we've got coming through when the previous generation had Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes and Carrick. Even the likes of Danny Murphy would be serious contenders in the centre of the park. Our future is so bleak.
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Rooney was abysmal, no problem with him being taken off. Scored and did a lot of good work defensively. He was far from abysmal.
kingfox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Rooney was abysmal, no problem with him being taken off. But he is still our best source for a goal along with Defoe. Milner is woeful, has no pace and has always been shit, it's like Hodgson sucks his cock or something because he never deserves to start.
Happy Fox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 England will qualify they get past the group stages in World Cup than loose in the Quarterfinals standard.
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Scored and did a lot of good work defensively. He was far from abysmal. Not abysmal but I do think he was way below par today. Far too cheap in possession
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Not abysmal but I do think he was way below par today. Far too cheap in possession I think that's fair. But Rooney on a bad day offers England a lot more than the rest of the dross he's playing with.

kingfox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 What was your opinion of Hart after the Borussia Dortmund game? Class but he isn't the best goalkeeper in the World, Casillas and others are still miles ahead of him.
foxfanazer Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 I think that's fair. But Rooney on a bad day offers England a lot more than the rest of the dross he's playing with. Well yeah that's true. That's not a great thing for us though, we lack any real quality. Something needs to change in this country in regards to youth academies
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 What was your opinion of Hart after the Borussia Dortmund game? He had a good game but that doesn't hide the fact that half way through October he has nly kept 2 clean sheets all season - against San Marino and a very weak Sunderland side who have been struggling for goals and who we beat in pre-season
AKCJ Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Class but he isn't the best goalkeeper in the World, Casillas and others are still miles ahead of him. Not for me. Hart and Neuer are the stand alone top two keepers. The likes of Cech, Casillas and Buffon are the next in line.
kingfox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Not for me. Hart and Neuer are the stand alone top two keepers. The likes of Cech, Casillas and Buffon are the next in line. No way but it's all opinions I guess. Did Chiles just say the game was entertaining, but England's performance was underwhelming. No it's wasn't entertaining at all, entertaining is if we played well but we didn't, so it was underwhelming all round. ITV suck big time, how he still does the England games on ITV baffles me, because nobody likes him.
Haydos Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Class but he isn't the best goalkeeper in the World, Casillas and others are still miles ahead of him. Miles? You don't half exaggerate. Everyone's shit if they're not incredible as well right?
Guest ttfn Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 This is a good result, by the way. We've got a combination of players on the wane, has-beens, mediocre players, never-will-bes and one or two potential stars. I used to be really optimistic about England, but now we're just a hodge-podge team with no identity and no excitement.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Looking at that Steven Gerrard will still be getting games for England when he's 40
BlueSi13 Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Another day, another desperately poor performance from England. Played the two best sides in the group so far and both have completely dominated us for 90 minutes. But as somebody said earlier, where is the quality in that squad? Cole is by far and away our best player but the remainder are brutally average with Gerrard long past his prime. The most concerning thing though is that who is coming through? Who will England's next world class player be? Why are we actually getting WORSE technically? Clearly our policy of trying to play like whoever is top of the world rankings since the days of SVG is not working, English players like to play English style football....why don't we stop trying to fight those instincts because the players we have now and in the next 10 years will never EVER be like Spain or Italy etc.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 I sware that Joe Hart is fast becoming the new David James. Capable of the amazing save but some of the mistakes he has made, you would not expect from a non league keeper.
