Manc Fox Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Reckon it'll be our first(of many!!) back2back wins of the season. I'll go for 1-3 Vardy with all 3. Come on Citeh!!
Dan LCFC Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Exactly how I feel. I'm struggling to shake off last season, when it takes us til March to win 2 in a row it gets to you. This is exactly the kind of game where I wake up with a hangover, we're on TV and I'm optimistic of a decent display after the last result, but we play poorly and lose, though there will somehow be some controversy. We're back to square one and I hope in two games time things will be different, but will they....? Forgive me but statistically there's not much to draw hope from. Last season seriously was so bad and it lingers so much, it's actually scarred me badly. I'd absolutely love us to go to Wolves and do what we did to Southampton, that would be amazing and would seriously ignite my hope.

indierich06 Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Why is everyone so worried about this Wolves side? They're hardly setting the world alight at the minute - they beat Barnsley but they're already looking like the potential Championship whipping boys this season. Other than that, they drew with quite a poor Derby side and got hammered by Cardiff. I really don't see how they're a massive threat. IMO, Blackpool was a far more daunting fixture and we did ok against them, didn't we? Let's not start shitting ourselves over some tinpot midlands club before the whistle's even been blown. Christ, I hope the players are more optimistic than some of you lot...

A draw wouldn't be the end of the world though

indierich06 Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 1-0 Wolves, squad is much stronger How do you work that one out then? As far as I can see, Doyle and Hunt are their only really quality players, maybe Soko and Johnson on his day too, they certainly have a good Championship side, but I would argue that we do too. Can't see how their squad is 'much stronger' - besides, even if their squad is decent, they certainly haven't shown it so far. Battered by Cardiff, dominated by Derby and could have had no complaints if they'd lost, but they drew. Beating Barnsley is no real achievment either - they got smashed by Brighton too and they're already looking like they could be in a relegation battle this season. indierich06 Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Another reason to be optimistic; for the last three games they've played Karl Ikeme in goal when they've got Dorus De Vries in their squad. Madness. They'd be better off with a scarecrow in goal.
Luke4leicester Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Hope for a win, but one thing is for sure, I bet they will bore us with the infamous 4-3 highlights before the game. They think they are funny like that.

Oakes5 Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 I can see us pasting this Wolves team, dodgy manager, fans will get on the players back if we start passing it around like we have shown this season. Just one problem, finishing chances. Sunday is the day 0-
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Take our chances and we should win nicely 3-1 sounds about right, if the forwards fail again we would be doing well to get a draw

Raw Dykes Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 Not sure about this one. I don't think Wolves look that good so far, but I really wouldn't be surprised if we lost. I think I'd take a draw and look to the following two home games to kick start our season. I'll go for a 1-1 draw.
z-layrex Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 I can't see us winning away so 2-0 Wolves. Obviously hope i'm very wrong.
Nick Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 HT 1 - 0 Wolves FT 1 - 3 Leicester That would rake me in about £430 quid.
bluesbrothers Posted 11 September 2012 Share Posted 11 September 2012 While I haven't followed their matches since, they were so awful against Leeds on opening day that I will be disappointed with anything less that 3 points. 2-0 Leicester, with Nugent and Knockaert netting.
