bakerfox123 Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 I already have the feeling this is a must win game so early on and add that to the fact it's a night game, the atmosphere will not be the best
bakerfox123 Posted 19 September 2012 Author Posted 19 September 2012 Must win game...? Not my words, other people speaking to me
Mack Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 100% must win game for Pearson in my opinion. And I agree it will only take a couple of stray passes for some of the Wally's to start expressing their disgust.
foxfanazer Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Could really do with a result and the fans getting behind the team! COYB!!

Jace Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Must win game for Pearson too in my opinion if we lose 5 out of 6 then I predict he will be out the door
bakerfox123 Posted 19 September 2012 Author Posted 19 September 2012 No look, they are your words. I have the feeling due to speaking to people and I should be more specific as I'm talking about must win for pearson.
Deucalion Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 I think Pearson will be under even more pressure if we don't win tonight. The sacking rumours are starting to have a ring of truth about them too. And it better be a good atmosphere as it's a 3 hour round trip for me so it better be worth being tired at work tomorrow.
jonthefox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 If theres an atmosphere, then at least we can say we did our bit.
tylesta Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 a win could put us 6th a loss could put us 20th. i fear for pearson if we lose tonight as saturday will be a must win game for him

Happy Fox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Today's result will be irrelevant in the grand scheme of things imo, I just have a feeling the Thais have already made up their mind with regards to NP's future.

Oh well if you've got a feeling, we'd better start looking for a new boss now.
MeltonBlueBoy Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 who says if will be a sh*t atmosphere? Aslong as us L1/K1 lads do our bit we could get everybody rocking no matter what the result and performance we need to get behind the lads and ignore spculation of NPs future
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Of course the atmosphere won't be shite! I'm going and will be bellowing out 'positivity' in my big, booming voice! Even the L1 lads will look over and think 'who's that fat bloke making all the noise'... He must be a real fan!

Harry - LCFC Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 It isn't a must win game but it is very much a "should win" game. Plus, if we don't beat Burnley then there will be a reason for the fans to doubt the squad if only a little, this is a home game against a team not expected to go up or put up a strong challenge - a win can be expected tonight, whereas no-one should really 'expect' us to beat teams away from home who are looking for promotion themselves.
marbelladave Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We need a good win and we need it badly...... Confidence must be taking one hell of a hit after recent results, if we don't bounce back now we could be in deep doo-doo. Team selection for tonight will be interesting, should give us a clue where NFP thinks the problems are.

I do think it's a must win game for the above reason, but I also think Pearson might be scuppered in terms of his job if we lose tonight. We can say it would be stupid to sack him but I don't have an iota of belief in these owners when it comes to that. In any case we need to start picking up points or we'll fall behind. Lets fae it though, it will be a miracle if there's a good atmosphere tonight.

Jagdinho Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Anyone else think night games have a lot better atmosphere?
