KIRBYFOX93 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 That good? i think so mate not unless u can mention a better one
Leicester Lass Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeichel 6 Didn't really have much to do. If anyone thinks his distribution is bad just be thankful we don't have Ben Amos. De Laet 7 Solid enough. Supported the attack well again too. Morgan 6 Quite poor throughout I thought. St Ledger 7 The more solid of the two centre backs. Still a few dodgy moment. Konchesky 7 Much better from him. Improving. Marshall 6 Poor again for me. Not as effective when he plays on the left. I fear playing Knockaert has an adverse affect Marshall. Drinkwater 8 Very good in possession and breaking up their play. James 6 Still don't really rate him. He's a tidy footballer but just doesn't influence the game in any way at all. Knockaert 8 Very positive. Still tries too much at times but looks a gem of a player. Nugent 9 Outstanding hat-trick. Very tidy finishes for his goals. Vardy 6 There's only so far working hard gets you. Missed two glorious one on ones, some games we won't be able to afford missing chances like that. His game still needs a lot of work for him to make it at this level. King 7 Very tidy cameo. Got forward well and into some promising positions. Waghorn 6 Did well for the third goal. Other than that not overly involved. Dyer 6 Similar to Waghorn.
filbertboy Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeichel 7 De Laet 7 Morgan 6 St Ledger 7 Konchesky 7 Marshall 6 . Drinkwater 8 . James 7 Knockaert 8.5 love watching him play ! Nugent 9 Excellent finishing Vardy 6 King 7 Waghorn 6.5 Dyer 6
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 i think so mate not unless u can mention a better one No mate I'm not questioning you its just that's a pretty strong comment ahah.
kingfox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Thought some ratings would be slightly better but oh well. Schmeichel 6 - One class save, but so many dodgy kicks De Laet 7 - Not the best in the first, but second he attacked and defended well Morgan 7 - Another strong performance from the captain, couple of heated moments though St Ledger 7 - Decent, did what he needed to do to perfection Konchesky 7 - Last two games, he has been back to his consistent best Marshall 6 - Probably our worst player again, didn't really do anything spectacular James 8 - Excellent for me, looked so controlled, won balls, defended well, linked well Drinkwater 7 - Not the best in the first half, but controlled the midfield in the second Knockaert 10 - Rarely give 10's, but this guy is incredible, the Npower Championship version of Messi Nugent 9 - Perfect hat-trick, nice to see him scoring and playing with confidence Vardy 7 - Better first touches, looked very lively again but then went a bit quiet Subs... Waghorn 6 - Decent substitute performance King 6 - Did well when he came on, but not enough time to get a 7 Dyer - N/A
Mark_w Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Kasper - 7 - Did what he had to well as usual. De Laet - 6.5 - Better than Burnley, but I still wasn't impressed. Morgan - 6 - Nowhere near as good as he has been in the last few games. St. Ledger - 7 - Did pretty well. Konchesky - 7 - Consistent as always, typical Konch. Marshall - 6.5 - He's not had a great start to the season but he's still done a decent job. James - 7 - Did a good job, nice to see him improving. Drinkwater - 7 - Another good performance. Knockaert - 8.5 - The lad's fantastic, great performance again today. Nugent - 9 - Superb Vardy - 7 - Worked hard, contributed to a good attacking display. Dyer - 6.5 - Great pass for Nugent. Waghorn - 6.5 - Great pass for Dyer. King - 6.5 - Did a good job for us.
kingfox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Morgan- 7 iffy here an there but overall kept the defence together good game .. Loved the sol bamba tricks at the end St ledger-7 same as a morgan St Ledger did some Sol Bamba tricks must of missed them. St Ledger
smudger63 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeicle- 7 not alot to do RDL - 7 good going forward defended well all round good performance Morgan- 7 iffy here an there but overall kept the defence together good game .. Your obviously much younger than me.
Kitchandro Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Kasper - 7 - distribution not great, pulled off one very good save at 2-1 though. Rach - 7 - Hit and miss with his passing at times and caught out at the back once or twice, but got forward well and contributed positively on the whole. Wes - 7 Not quite as dominant as in recent games, let them get in a couple of times, but generally solid, some great sol Bamba impressions St Ledger - 7.5 - Solid Konchesky - 8 - Best performance so far this season, though he seemed to be partly at fault for the goal James - 7.5 - Nothing spectacular but ot a foot in and retained possession well. Drinky - 8 - Much better performance, passing not faultless but close enough Marshall - 5 - not one of his better games, wasteful and tried to do too much himself. Knocky - 9 - Ran the midfield and looked the difference today. Always looked to get on the ball, was strong enough to keep it and tried to pick those important balls, whether it was spreading it across the field, a good cross or a killer ball through the middle. Maybe he tries to do a little bit much too soon instead of waiting for opporunities but when he loses it he tries to win it back, and if you keep trying to create that can only be a good thing in the long run. Vardy - 6 - worked hard and he makes great runs but should have buried two great chances which would have made it more comfortable for us. Nugent - Can't ask more than scoring a hat-trick. Subs King - 7.5 - Good player to bring on when you're winning because he'll always be cool on the ball and use it well. Waggy - 7 - Worked hard for the ball and helped set up the 3rd goal Dyer - 7.5 - Assist for the 3rd and did his bit otherwise.
Alf Bentley Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeichel 7 Flaky distribution, but made the important saves De Laet 7 Good both attacking and defending today Morgan 7 Not quite at his recent best, but still solid & loved the late dribble St. Ledger 7.5 One of his best games for us, I thought, against difficult opponents Konchesky 7 As De Laet, good forward and back Marshall 6 OK, but slightly off the boil just now James 7 Slightly slow at times, but positionally good & consistently accurate passing Drinkwater 8 Really stepped it up today - great distribution & surprisingly strong in tackle Knockaert 8.5 He's had 2 league starts and I'm already getting nervous about the transfer window! Ability to control/pass accurately in tight spaces is exceptional, great control & vision - and his showmanship is directed at end product and team performance. If he carries on like this, he's an outstanding buy! Vardy 6 Just needs a bit more self-belief and a goal or 2; good team player, but needs a little more greed & arrogance! Nugent 9.5 So good to have the real Nugent back. When interviewed, he seems a relaxed, confident bloke, but I can only think his goal drought affected his confidence, because the improvement today was incredible - not just 3 excellent finishes, his control, dribbling, passing, team contribution...everything suggested he'd had a massive injection of self-belief. Delighted for him, as he seems like an amusing, positive sort of bloke Subs: King looked cool of movement/passing again (selection dilemma!); Waghorn's improving - & Dyer's selflessness in laying the ball off for Nugent's 3rd does him credit, as he could easily have shot himself (and probably missed)
TrentFox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Really good team pefromance. Very competent all over the park. Mentions for Knockster ... he really does give us something very different, Nuge's goals have to be mentioned, DD contimues to impress me. But my MoM goes to NP today ! To play a system that is not his preferred option showed a level of flexibility I haven't really picked up on before and I think it was as good a team performance as that particular set of starting players may be capable of ??
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeichel 7 De Laet 6 Morgan 7 St Ledger 7 Konchesky 8 James 6 Drinkwater 7 Marshall 6 Knockaert 9 Vardy 6 Nugent 9
ian the fox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 I thought the big difference today was the "service" supplied by Knockaert to the strikers ( Nugent in particular ) his running at the Hull back line was a pleasure to see ,
Bert Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Kasper 6 - one decent save was about as hard as his afternoon got RDL 6 - Still dodgy defending but supports the attack well. Konch 7 - Easily his best performance of the season. Morgan 6 - his weakest game but he holds the defence together. SSL 7 - good performance. A great defender when he gets a run in the team. Marshall 6 - wants to do it all on his own but was always a big threat. Tony 8 - A joy to watch. We've not had a player like this since I can remember. James 6 - a bit meh. Doesn't do much wrong but doesn't stamp his authority on the game. Drinkwater 8 - his performance today was everything you could ask from him. A key player for us this season. Vardy 7 - works hard but needs to be scoring his one on ones. Nuge 9 - a perfect hat-trick. What else is there to say?! King 6 - very similar to James but seems to offer that bit more. Waggy 6 - hustled and bustled. Played his part in a goal. Dyer N/A - But, a nice assist.
Happy Fox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Kasper-7 De Laet-7 St Ledger-7.5 Morgan-7 Konchesky-7 Marshall-6 James-6 Drinkwater-7.5 Knockaert-8 Vardy-6.5 Nugent-9
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Schmeichel 7 shit distribution again. De Laet 7 Morgan 6.5 St Ledger 7 Konchesky 7 Marshall 6 was too predictable . Drinkwater 8 Alot better 2nd half James 6 didn't really rate him, king will replace him next game Knockaert 8 Nugent 9 Worked his socks off Vardy 6 Was alright, don't know how he didn't get a goal King 7 Waghorn 6.5 Dyer 6
acooling08 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Kasper - 6.5 De Laet - 7 Morgan - 7 SSL - 7 Konch - 7.5 - Getting better again. Marshall - 5 - Off form. James - 6 - Meh. A fit King is a much better option. Drinkwater - 7.5 - Broke up their play well, good simple passing. Knockaert - 9 - Top performance, created chances and got good crosses in. Vardy - 6 - Looked bright but he missed 2 1 on 1s, the second of which he had to score. Nugent - 9.5 - Hatrick and generally fantastic game.
Yojoe36 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Everyone a 7, apart from Nugent with a 9, and Knockaert with an 8.
TrentFox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Drinkwater 8 - his performance today was everything you could ask from him. A key player for us this season. Totally agree with this. He reminds me a little of Ray Wilkins and I think he really makes us tick from deep. Looking forward to seeing just how he grows this season.
kingfox Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Totally agree with this. He reminds me a little of Ray Wilkins and I think he really makes us tick from deep. Looking forward to seeing just how he grows this season. He ain't that good, but I will agree he has played well this season so far, but you can't overlook his passing at times, today he hit three of the worst passes I have ever seen. Can't believe people are only giving James 6's, he was much better than that in my opinion, controlled the midfield more than Drinkwater at times, James did everything you want from a midfielder, only 6's, you should be ashamed.

Never said he was as good as Butch. Said he reminded me of him. Big difference.
