looking back over the past 5 games its now obvious that were are going to be promoted ! lol

A couple of things we should consider ......

Lay of Pearson as he & his management team may start to attract interest from other clubs

We need back up for Knocky in case he became injured or unavailable .....

Comments please .........

Easy. Arise Mr. Ben Marshall. Against Hull last season has was deadly just behind the strikers, admittedly he is not as technically gifted with all of the twists and turns, but he still has an excellent vision for a shot and pass. I do agree though, that now Knockaert is known for his tricks, I worry that some 2 celled thuggish centre back is just gonna put his foot through him to stop him playing.

Knockaert is the best on the ball midfielder we've seen at the club since muzzy, I only fear as Been said if he is out of the side through an injury who do we have with the flair that will create us something from nothing, there is no surprise that since he's started the last 5 games in a row, we've won them!

I'm not so worried about him getting injured, more the fact of him getting sent off! He puts in some rash challenges at times and also retaliates when one is put in against him. I can see opposition in the future trying to capitalise on this and wind him up in order to get him a red card.

Agree he does put in rash challenges and it's a side of his game he has to improve in the 'modern' game hard tackling has to be seen as a last resort, that said I don't think he's the type that gets wound up his challenges aren't done in anger and if you watch him he's often seen to be 'friendly' through hand gestures, consolation hugs etc. with team mates and the opposition. He seems to have quite a happy go lucky disposition when playing that doesn't affect his level of tenacity and determination.

I do see that 'friendly' side of him on the pitch, but against Bristol City after he was fouled he seemed to retaliate and push/hit out at a player, all be it his leg as Knockaert was on the floor. After that the Bristol players seemed happy to leave a foot in to try and get him to retaliate again. Hopefully this is just a one off, but players with a lot of passion tend to be like this. It was just an observation I made on Saturday. I haven't seen it in other games though.

Bolton have just sacked Coyle.

Wonder who they'll be sniffing after?

I doubt Pearson would wanna go and join up with the defensive rock that is Mr Mills!

Bolton at this moment in time would be a sideways step at best, and that'd only be until the parachute payments run out, can't see an offer within this division tempting Pearson away.

Pearson wouldn't concider Bolton he's not as stupid as Mark McGee was, if I was Bolton I would be targeting Simon Grayson

Blackburn have had their day in the sun . willy puller Walkers legacy has run out and it's back to the obscurity from whence they came . And good riddance.

Bolton are 160 million in debt. I very much doubt anyone in their right mind will want to touch them with a bargepole, unless Gartside has a line of investors around the block or a magic money tree growing at the training ground that just needs a bit of sunshine.

We really should send them a written apology for flogging off Matt Mills to them

How we've flogged them Mills is beyond me. They are hemorrhaging money from every angle of the club, getting in high wage earners should have been the last thing they wanted to do. Basically if they don't get promotion they are in dire dire trouble, unless as mentioned they get some serious investment and/or get bought out and the new owners are willing to take on the hooooge debt.

I literally never knew the level of debt they were in. Any new manager as you say, is taking on a big job it would seem.

I know someone from in the club who was made redundant, well I say redundant, but was unceremoniously screwed over like loads of other staff who were there for years and years. Yet the club still kept loads of players on huge wages, and though it might not be nice kept on Muamba on fat wage whilst people are sacked in the back office and elsewhere within the club.

Whilst it's off topic, and I won't continue in the LCFC forum, it's something I hope our club don't go down as route again. Bolton used to be a family club with a closeness to its fans. This has seriously eroded over the years, and unless something drastic happens it may well get worse.

Cheers for the info...a bit of insider knowledge on other clubs is always interesting.

Is this the same chairman that proposed a closed shop for the Premier League with no promotion or relegation ?? ...with the addition of Celtic and Rangers ??

if only, eh.
