Dan Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 If Serbia aren't given a huge ban and a huge fine I'm done with international football and I mean that.
Fox in the North Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Nothing personal to do with Serbia as a whole i must stress that, BUT there needs to a stand out punishment laying down the law sending a message to any other countries. If any other country did exactly the same as they did tonight i'd say the same for that nation, a message needs to be sent out that it won't be tolerated.
Father Ted Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Just to emphasise an earlier point I made about media coverage... How much will be said about Danny Rose swearing and kicking a ball at the crowd which led to Serbian players retaliating? And how much about 3 Serbians stabbed in Macedonia tonight? I do not condone any racism that may have occurred but you can see why the players reacted how they did in a sense.
Bettsj2 Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 No punishment. You will never ever get rid of racism completely and to think that any punishment will have any effect other than stoking the fire, I think is pretty naive. Its a social problem thats inherited and will never go away unfortunately. I used to think that action should be taken but to be honest, Danny Rose's reaction tonight was probably good enough. Boot the ball at them then applaud them whilst doing the monkey action. Treat it for what it is, pathetic.

If you think Rose is in the wrong for that, then the Serbia players are equally if not more in the wrong with the way they retaliated, even trying to start something with some of the English staff! Pathetic behaviour from them.

It wasn't just monkey chants though, the players and coaches were fighting ours pretty much in support of racism. If UEFA are so pro "Kick It Out" then they should all involved should be given hefty bans and fines. They're scum products from a scum nation.
ACF Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Maybe they should be banned from the U/21 tournaments?
Tevez Posted 16 October 2012 Posted 16 October 2012 Ban them from the next 5 tournaments. That includes Senior team all the way down the youth level. Embarrasing from Serbia. Dirty f**king racists.

Fvck that, make them deal with it head on (within sport at least ) or don't let them participate in International sport. Don't like foreigner's then stay at home and play amongst yourselves, ignorant cvnts.
Jaspa Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Give them an international against Senegal away with no security Don't see why the Serbian senior team should suffer for this or the fans as a whole, punish their FA and target those for the trouble last night. Nomally agree with Dan, but saying the etntire country is scum; I don't
Raj Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Fifa will five them a tiddl;y little fine. FIFA have no balls...You saw that yday with the Poland waterlogged pitch fiasco. No Countries give a **** about fines. BAN the c.unts for a year. Racism against professional footballers in 2012??? Come on..Its a farce
Finnegan Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Can we ban the senior team from the current campaign and discount their results so far?
Guest Bilo Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 I say we make them join CAF for a tournament or two. I'd love to see how they'd get on in Angola and Cote d'Ivoire.

Guest Bilo Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 .. or Senegal? Now that's just sadism in light of recent events.... Maybe they could play a few games in DR Congo as well, what could possibly go wrong?
Babylon Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Am I the only one who thought you couldn't see what was happening or who caused what. If you listened to it without commentary you see a few missiles and a few spats here and there. It was the commentary team who concluded it was racist and that anyone in an England badge was being attacked before any statements had been made. Since then obviously England have reported racism. But I felt the commentators shouldn't have been making conclusions like that. The Serbs had been hung drawn and quartered online before any official word had been made and that was down to their commentary. In fact I still haven't seen any conclusive evidence. See what comes out, see what other angles & sound recordings there are and go from there.

We are yet to really know what happened between the missile throwing and the brawl breaking out and then the biased commentators making all sorts of claims. And from another 'perspective', how about Steve Wigley acting like a complete animal? No point commenting on the racism until some hard evidence comes out that it did occur and not just people 'assuming' it was from Danny Rose's actions.
Father Ted Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 They're scum products from a scum nation. So this isn't racist now?
Father Ted Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Can we ban the senior team from the current campaign and discount their results so far? I haven't got a clue what Mihajlovic is playing at... both Subotic and Ivanovic on the bench tonight. It's all a complete farce.
Babylon Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 I don't speak the language but monkey noises are pretty much the same in any language http://www.101greatg...y-of-the-crowd/ I couldn't hear that on the main commentary video, but that's good enough evidence of the crowd. Now they need something on the players, what made Rose flip out? Was it a comment from a player or was the chanting going on prior to him going off on one.

Well to be fair the commentators (presuming they were at the ground) they may well have also heard what was going on around the ground. The main commentary video wasn't very clear, but the video posted above does give a different perspective on it. The noises and then Rose doing the mime is hard to deny.
Reynard Bleu Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Key to it all was they lost and they didnt like it. Their default position on such occasions seems to be - have a ruck/chant unpleasant things. Not the first time Serbia has been involve in claims of racist chants etc. I am sure if it was as bad as England are saying, the UEFA officials on site saw it. How they react or deal with it is another thing.
Samilktray Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Disgusting nation. I hope they make an example of them.
Uncle Monty Posted 17 October 2012 Posted 17 October 2012 Absolutely ****ng disgraceful behaviour. It was disturbing to see the opposition staff get involved in a mass brawl when they are supposed to be the role models the young players look up to.
