UEFA fines: £45,000 Spain 2004 (racism), £16,500 Serbia 2007 (racism), £10,000 Croatia 2008 (racism). £80,000 Bendtner (exposing pants with a sponsor on).

Spot on mate, shows their priorities!

Whatever you do dont piss on their exclusive advertising deals, everything else is pretty much ok by them.

"Serbian FA deny any forms of racism against England Under 21s"

"Serbian FA also accuse Danny Rose of behaving in an "inappropriate, unsportsmanlike and vulgar manner" towards their fans"

From the SSN Twitter.

Disgusting.

lol They really don`t give a fvck, do they.

Nope, I've worked with a few Serbs and they generally don't care less about anything, always found them good people mind.

This probably won't even make the news over there.

I'm not comparing them, I'm responding to your 100s of years of oppression comment. Mmmm ok

the fact you can't see the difference why MOBO's is prefectly fine but MOWO's isn't baffles me.

lol

A good way to summarise us lol I most likely know them too!

Seen Serbian TV earlier and they have a different slant on it - highlighting more the brawl that happened and also saying that Danny Rose swore and spat at the Serbian fans. Always two sides to a coin.

All good and well saying a suspended ban for the next tournament, although i'm sure a similar idea has been suggested the past half a dozen times shit like this has happened.

Where's the footage of this? As I presume it must be about if they're making such accusations.

Rose also revealed in interview he was racially abused before, during and after the game, so I can why he got annoyed and kicked the ball into the crowd.

Exactly. I find it a very strange argument to sit back and do nothing, no idea how that can in any way help anything or anyone.

The momentum for change in society can be born in any number of places including football terraces.

I agree.

In many ways, England's Heysel ban was a blessing in disguise. It forced us as a country to deal with a massive problem by hitting clubs in the pocket and watching the best English players, Lineker among them, go to sunnier climes to ply their trade. By the 1990s, the enormous problems with hooliganism that were killing English football were all but over. Perhaps Serbian football needs a similar kick up the arse.

Just been looking at comments around the web from articles here and whilst generally most are dsgusted by the actions of the Serbians last night a minority seem to be saying "footballers earn enough so they should get on with it"

If that is the attitude with a small number then maybe its no surprise the countries who have such major issues don't learn and often get away with it.

Fines clearly don't do anything for a lot of people in football but being banned from games/tournaments would..

I don't understand that argument at all.

Footballers are not robots. They still have human feelings and reactions.

Why the amount of money you earn means you should take every insult under the sun and "just accept it" I just don't know.

Have I missed something, not read a single person who has said "they earn enough they can deal with it".

I think by "articles here" he means from English supporters' sites and newspapers.

No footage as far as I know but people in the crowd are saying this is what happened.

Yes..sorry.

You can probably guess from which papers.

Aye, bastards at the Guardian and Morning Star again.

I hate racism, me.

Ol' Caravanmooseler seems pretty quite on the whole topic. If ever there was a conspiracy ordinary people wouldn't understand it's this one.

Having just seen additional footage on the news, it's laughable and borderline embarrassing if Serbian TV is saying Rose spat towards the fans. His head was down and never once looked towards the crowd and spat directly at the ground in front of him (like many footballers feel the need to do). I'm sorry Father Ted, but such an accusation is ridiculous; a diversion tactic at best. Crass, churlish and ill-natured at worst.

Further, your paper, Blic, has run the headline "Serbian Shame: See Racist Riot In Krusevac!"

I cant even be bothered to type and shit...so i'll just swear to myself at the computer.
