Leicester City fans are in for a treat this weekend at the King Power stadium as the NFL rolls into town.

As part of the matchday entertainment on the pitch at the Crystal Palace game, City will welcome the cheerleaders from the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.

The cheerleaders are in town ahead of the International Series Game at Wembley Stadium on Sunday and are here to promote their own game which will be taking place this time next year.

With interest in the NFL in the United Kingdom at an all-time high, the Jacksonville Jaguars have made a multi-year commitment to International Series games in London.

As part of the agreement, the Jaguars will play one of their regular season games at Wembley for the next four years and will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday 27 October, 2013.

In response to outstanding and growing fan support of American football in the United Kingdom, the NFL has also taken an historic step in its international development when in 2013, for the first time, two regular-season games will be played in the UK.

On Sunday 29 September, 2013, the Minnesota Vikings will also host the Pittsburgh Steelers at Wembley Stadium, this is in addition to the Jaguars game in October.

The 2012 International Series game, which takes place on Sunday, features the St. Louis Rams hosting the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 28 October, before an expected sell-out crowd in excess of 80,000.

Tickets for the Jacksonville Jaguars v San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings v Pittsburgh Steelers will be released on Thanksgiving on the 22 November. For more details go to www.nfluk.com
