Ashley Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Starting stake. £5, £10 or £20. The stake is decided by the participator. Place your starting stake on a bet at evens or higher (1/1, 2.00). IF the bet wins place all of your winnings on another evens or higher and so on. Example for £5 stake. Bet one: £5 - £10 Bet two: £10 - £20 Bet three: £20 - £40 Bet four: £40 - £80 Bet five: £80 - £160 Bet six: £160 - £320 Bet seven: £320 - £640 Bet eight £640 - £1,280 ** - Should we reach bet seven, we bank £250 of our funds leaving us with £390. We continue to bet with £390, should it win it will become £780 + £250 = £1,030. IF the bet loses we still have £245 profit. I will be starting this weekend. My bets, stakes etc will be posted in here along with print screens. Good luck to anyone that joins in and let's try and beat the bookies.
marko Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 You make it sound so simple. I bet you don't make it to bet 5.
Bert Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 You make it sound so simple. I bet you don't make it to bet 5. Nothing like a bit of optimism.
foxfanazer Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 Like the 10k challenge it looks great but bet I don't win much
FoxLAD Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 I've gave this ago.. 5 pounds on brighton to win tonight
whoareyaaa Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 Cheers Ash, will be trying this at the weekend... may start it today. seems a lot easier than 73 bets!
marko Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 Nothing like a bit of optimism. I'm a realist If these 10k challenges were so simple, everyone would be doing them.
stix Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 I'm a realist If these 10k challenges were so simple, everyone would be doing them. The lottory is something like 14,000,000/1 but every fvcker still does that. It seems that at the minute everyone IS trying the 10k challenge anyway.

BoneDog Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 Starting again on £5 even though my first bet of Gerwen and Dimitrov came in. I've already got the winnings from that on a weekend bet. Couldn't find a decent simple evens bet anywhere so made one up of my own. I've got : Porto to beat Maritimo (tonight) Cheslea to beat Swansea Man City to beat West Ham Swindon Macclesfield over 1.5 goals Swansea Chelsea over 1.5 goals I tried to do this bet as a 5 fold accumulator, but it wouldn't let me, so had to have two 4 fold accumulators. £5 pays £17.21 so defo over 1/1. Anyone got any idea how the two 4 fold accies work?
EnderbyFox Posted 2 November 2012 Posted 2 November 2012 I've gave this ago.. 5 pounds on brighton to win tonight Unlucky mate! Blame CMS for missing that penalty

Anyone got any idea how the two 4 fold accies work? U can't have Chelsea to win + the Chelsea game to be over 1.5goals in the same acca. So your two 4fold acca's will just have them two selections separated on each bet with your other 3 selections.
MooseBreath Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I've often wondered, if you bet on someone like man utd to win every individual game, what kind of return would you get at the end of the season?
ealingfox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I've often wondered, if you bet on someone like man utd to win every individual game, what kind of return would you get at the end of the season? Nothing because no team wins every game...
MooseBreath Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Nothing because no team wins every game... I don't mean doubling up but the same stake on each game
ealingfox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I don't mean doubling up but the same stake on each game Well still not a lot, say your stake was 5, most Man U games they are odds on so you wouldn't win much, and then in the games where they don't win you'd lose 5.

So your two 4fold acca's will just have them two selections separated on each bet with your other 3 selections. Ah right, that'd be why they wouldn't let me do a double on a Man Utd win and over 1.5 goals in the same game this morning.
