Grey Fox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Don't get why people think this is a shit draw? Personally I'm happy to draw the lowest possible opposition available in each round. Surely that gives us the best chance of progressing rather than having to overcome one of the best teams in the country each time? The odds are you will meet a big side eventually. I would rather that be in a semi or final than the third round. Am I missing something?
LCFC FOX Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Got to have a good crowd for this. They will bring a good support. Kasper Moore Morgan St Ledger Koncheskey Marshall Wellens James Dyer Schlupp Futacs Logan, De Laet, Danns, King, Nugent, Panayitou, Hopper
jonthefox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Should progress to next round, happy days. We said that last time.
Craig Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 If I was Nigel, I would use the exact squad we sent out last time. This would allow the players to have an opportunity to give a better performance. Thankfully you're not Nigel.
Corky Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Hope we put out a strong team. Don't want a repeat of that game.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 sort of off topic but was anyone watching the alfreton town game? they got the seats for their stadium from other grounds, when demolished etc, some from filbert street (sorry if old news to most )
topharry123 Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I think this is the best draw that we could have gotten! It's a side that is low down so we should beat them and we have the extra motivation for revenge. Pleased it's at home as well wish I could go to this one!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I think we would really benefit from a good Cup run now, and hope we can bring a big fish to the Walkers.
Jonesy038 Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 What are the Burton fans saying about this? Disappointed really - I don't think many will bother making the trip as it's a case of 'been there, done that' . Does crack me up some of the Chemical Ali style self-delusion on here as if you put some sort of youth team out against us last time. 'Let's put a proper side out this time'. 'Should win easily if we put out a proper side'. Schmeichel, Whitbread, Konchesky, Knockaert, Wahgorn etc....... all started the game!! Yes you'll probably do us this time, but 'last laugh' as one of you said? Don't think so. We'll laugh about our victory at the King Power earlier in the season for years to come, even if you stick ten past us in January. Rubbish draw all round. We wanted a big tie away from home and we got Leicester. Very disappointing.

Dan Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It wasn't our strongest side out last time but it was definitely one that should've won that by a good 2+ goals, not lose by that many. Think we'll crush them personally. I feel a div as I said that last time but there's surely, surely no way we can get knocked out of both cups at home by Burton.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 If their fans are any indication they'll be deluded arrogant cvnts next time around and we'll wipe the floor with em.

Played you already this season and won comfortably. A wet day out in Leicester is not a good way to welcome in a new year.

A bit of honesty for once - fair play. The side you had out was certainly a decent Championship side. Plenty of the players who ran rings round Derby at the weekend were playing. It's a no lose situation for us. No, but a wet day out in York probably will be. Cheer the **** up. You've got a point. York is a lovely place!
marko Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It's a no lose situation for us. Well it is if we score 1 more goal than you

You wanted a big tie? Oh well.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Couldn't believe it when we drew them again. Got to smash them this time!
